For all its vaunted brokenness, I only got to use Slumber once or twice in the short-lived campaign Scint ran where I played Tatya; most of the things we faced had good Will saves (a couple of fey, humanoids with class levels) or were outright immune (undead and vermin). Misfortune and Evil Eye got used a lot more, as well as constantly cooking up potions with Cauldron.
Her main complaint was more my frequent casting of web and frost fall spells then Misfortuning up people who got stuck in them and just sitting on the edge Cackling while the Monk and Gunslinger mopped up.

Witches are amazingly awesome in combat, especially as a debuffer. I love playing a witch and setting up the pins for the hulking muscular guys to knock down.
Yup, pretty much.
The best part of Hexes IMO is that there's no visible or audible (except for Cackle) sign you're using one unless you want there to be. Which has come in useful in our Runelords game - Siobhan can sit there and gab with the NPCs, trying to get information or talk them into surrendering, and while she's yakking Isaac the Witch is standing in the back silently hexing everyone and snickering under his breath. (He's a Samsaran and already a bit off so everyone thinks he's weird anyway.)

No, I keep plenty busy hexing as a witch. No time for mundane punchy/stabby stuff. I also like a maximum level witch. Dips in other classes weaken witches a lot, IMO.

Either I will be a mature adult, or this is gonna be the best math class ever.
Soooo.....you're going to play the floor is lava in math class? ;P
Edit: gran rey beat me to the punch by a lot. This happens to me frequently. Is why I don't post more here. By the time I make the relevant comment someone else has made it and I pretty much missed the whole conversation. :)

Still feel like crap. Getting sick during the first week of classes is not awesome. And tonight/tomorrow get to write stupid english papers. Bleh. Forced writing is also not awesome. I hate taking english classes. I'm a good writer and an avid reader so it's pretty much boring, annoying, and a huge waste of time.
:(

Now I'm upset.
Why is it I can't focus with my eyes when I wake up in the morning?
I determined that for 50% of the respondents that imagined lava, lava colored carpet was not a prerequisite.

But, unfortunately for her and king Ludwig II, not the population of Bavaria.

Don't look at easy English assignments as a drudge. Look at them as an opportunity to make a boring assignment into a knockout paper. Try new styles or forms. Break out of your safety zone. Live dangerously.
We musicians practice for years to manage fast and complicated passages, yet it is slow, simple music that really challenges our mastery of the instrument.

Hello all. Still alive and kicking. Getting ready for the weekend as the kids head out for Trappers Rendezvous A cold weather camp out for Scouts where we are looking at possible 50* F. Yeah a lot of good those Longjohns are going to do them this year.

still no release date for the little one :-(
it really gets to our nerves
Aw, sorry to hear that. Is Sabine still staying with him at the hospital? Did you get all the forms filled out for the various leaves? Everything ready at home and at mom-in-law's?
Little Marlon really threw a wrench in your schedule, didn't he?

the childhood talk on the last page is fun to read
I never heard of the "the floor is lava" game, must be an american thing,
For me it was floor being terrible roaring river just before waterfall so we have to walk on pillows (rocks standing out of water) and other things. But only once or twice.
