So, someone is/will be pretty upset. While doing my rounds I found an unopened 12-pack of Nat Light beer. Since there was no one around, I took it out and chucked it in the dumpster with the trash from the lobby. Teach them to leave their beer unattended.
I doubt anybody would be upset to see Natty Light in the dumpster.

Perhaps the person who went to the trouble to buy it and bring it to the hotel would be. Other people might not. Certainly didn't bother me.

Now if it was Natty ice, that's a whole new ballgame

Is Toshiro Mifune first? Because he should be.

No. Yoshiuke Tomino.

Got a new game today. Now I just need to have a chance to play it.

Sorry, Freehold, you're not invited.

I did see that in my FLGS on sale (I believe), let us know if it's any good. :D

Ooh! I wanna play!

Hmm... the El-Shelad entry in the Osirion book coupled with me reading Republic of Thieves right now has me wondering how one should run a game where the PCs are aiming to win an election (for themselves or someone else)...

...And thinking of trying to run a game like that.

Do the conclave assembled to select a new space pope in place of old dead one counts?

'Cause we did something like that in Fading Suns. Well, we saved the first conclave from symbiote infiltrators, we marginally avoided the second conclave where our friendly head of inquisition had a chance and then we convinced the head administrator of the Church to ignore both patriarchs elected by different groups of archbishops from different sides of incoming war, pick a puppet patriarch that would issue a number of Church reforms including canceling the office of patriarch completely and then retire.

Good morning FAWTLY Folk! Happy Tuesday! Very much happier. Yesterday I was exhausted. I even skipped lunch, closed my office door, and took a power nap. And I still was in bed last night by 2130.

A good night's sleep has me feeling better, however. Ready to tackle the day and all the petty annoyances it brings.

Talking to my supervisor yesterday, he was telling me a different route I could take to get to and from work - one that did not involve the interstate. I took it home yesterday and actually shaved a minute or two off my commute. Took it to work again this morning, and it was about the same as my usual morning commute. With less traffic and stress! Methinks I likes it.

Scarab Sages

Aaarrgggghhhh!!!! I just got my email confirmation of shipping for the latest AP issue!!!! Now I have to wait all day to go home and download it!!!!

I say again....

AAAAAARRRRRGGGGGHHHH

Scarab Sages

New Moon Knight and Ghost Rider comics, you say?!? Well, sign me the hell up!

Scarab Sages

Especially with Warren Ellis writing Moon Knight. Here, take my money.

Scarab Sages

So, under 1300 posts to go before we hit 100K. Can we do it before Saturday? I hope so, otherwise it's likely to happen when I'm out on the rig.

Scarab Sages

I shall try to do my part.

Scarab Sages

Sadly, that part must end for the time being. There is much to be done. Stay thirsty. And hungry. And happy. And mildly curious.

I found a route like this myself, though the steep hillside turn at one point makes it inadvisable on rainy/icy nights. It's actually a slightly longer trip home, by about 5 minutes, but sooooooo much less stress.

Hmmm... I will investigate.

Big moon Knight fan, also liked the "a ghost rider for every culture/time period" idea they had a few years back, though some were cheesy.

Hey, they both do the vengeance thing - why don't they work together more often?

I wonder if the base premise of a tale of a fallen angel living among demons sounds any good.

Of course, there's also the fact that fallen angels are sometimes classified as demons to worry about...

I was thinking something a bit more along the lines of influencing a decent-sized popular vote. Perhaps stick in various random and non-random events for the PCs to react to, and depending on what they do their candidate's share of the votes shift.

Sort of like the various victory points in Council of Thieves.

Well, if the choice is between things getting a bit nippy, with snow brightening up the landscape or frickin' showers of rain, temperatures just above freezing, and an ever-present grey gloom for the two to three hours the sun is above the horizon I'll go for snow every time.

And anyone who doesn't must be either perverted or in need of a proper winter wardrobe. ;)

Hey now, there's no need for that. Seriously, I don't want or need any more snow. Besides, you aren't invited because I wouldn't want to try and force you to play something you probably wouldn't appreciate.

Also, because I'm worried if you lose you'll do the Wunian Snow Dance on overdrive and bury me in several feet of demon dandruff.

That was awesome Orthos. :)

Yesterday was excessively stressful. Schedule drama and unexpected visits from family members. Here's hoping today goes better.

Although I did enjoy the first day of the computer class where we got to actually take apart a computer. I like hands-on learning. It's so much easier than studying diagrams. :)

And now I get to write stupid stuff for stupid english classes. Hmm. I think I'll write some less stupid stuff for PBP first.
I hate taking english classes and I'm only taking these as a requirement of graduation. I have the writing skills. Taking classes for things I already know how to do irritates me, especially when it keeps me from taking classes I'd prefer.

Then again I'm also taking physics this term to get it back on my transcript. And this should hopefully finish out those things that got messed up during my first attempt at college. Long story short I made stupid decisions about my education when I was 18.

And that's all for my contribution to making FaWtL longer this morning. Homework to do. PBP to update. Later, all. :)
