Huzzah! Another milestone reached! Achievement unlocked!
I always like to achieve things while nekkid!!
Less than 6000 posts to go.
I appear to be in the midst of a one zombie miniblitz.
My brother got his Dwarven Forge dungeon tiles in from the kick starter. Not bad. Almost makes me wish I had participated.
He texted me a picture late last night of a dungeon he and my nephew built on their dining room table.
I always just find it easier to draw the dungeon out on a wet-dry grid.
But the dungeon tiles are cool.
My boy is officially a little turd.
He came walking in just now with a pack of fruit snacks. I asked if I could have one, even said please. His answer was no.
Little s#&+ball! I bought those for you!!!
It's like his part French or something.
Half-way through my second cup of coffee.

If someone had told me 5 years ago that in 2013 I'd be living in Texas, working in the oil and gas industry, father to an awesome little boy, and spending a quiet Sunday morning typing on Paizo WHILE drinking my second cup of coffee....
...I'd have asked him to give me a hit of whatever he was smoking.

It's always the quiet times when I reflect. My life has taken a strange course. Mostly good. Some bad. But all in all, I can't complain. I sometimes get caught up in worrying about the "big picture", but never so much that I lose track of all the little things. I like to think that, no matter what, I can always find something positive to say about each and every day.
And that, in my not even remotely humble opinion, is the secret to a happy life. That you can look at each and every day and say something along the lines of - "Hey! This is something good that happened today."

In the words of that dude from Duck Dynasty - Happy! Happy! Happy!
I don't normally watch that show, but I've seen a few episodes. It's very funny. And while I get the feeling some of it's contrived, I also think there's a good bit of genuine reality - especially from Phil.
Damn, I think this is the most posting I've done in a good while.

My son in law's Mom has mercifully passed away.
Thank you all for all the good thoughts and prayers.
Take care. My condolences BT. My uncle just passed this past week as well. It was not unexpected, but it was still a blow, and brought up emotions tied to other recent things. I hope your daughter and son-in-law are doing ok. my condolences and positive thoughts to both of you BT and Patrick

Wimp. It was only 69 degrees.
Pah! Lightweight! 69 degrees is too hot!
Aberzombie wrote: Still, if this is the worst the Houston winter has to offer us, then I'll be a happy zombie! Don't worry. I've got my Wunian snow dancing shoes and weather dominator ready to give you a more normal winter experience.

yesterday Kingmaker, it was good, the Oligarchy of Sevenwaters now spreads around the Tuskwater and Candlemere
COOL! I just played Kingmaker last night myself. The Lords of Verlandia always know how to throw a monkeywrench into things...It's challenging and fascinating.

It's 76 here in Phoenix. I should adjust the thermostat.
80 in Las Vegas yesterday. Help my mother lay grass seed and fertilizer yesterday. Love it. It was fun.

Mid 60s here. Just drove from Chattanooga to Lafayette and back with the windows down and blasting Two Steps From Hell the whole way.
Only complaint was that my hands got cold, but turning on the air vent (not heat, not AC, just vent) to middle-of-the-circle temp solved that problem easy.
Was beautiful out otherwise. I love the Georgia countryside away from the city. I'd live out there myself if I could afford it. The older I get the more I want to live away from cities and with some actual space between me and other people.
Yee-ha! My lasagna fu has come through for me again! Who needs to look at a recipe after 30 years of making the stuff? Maybe more shrooms next time, though.
Morning.
Moving on with the preparations...
Hit 6 out of 10 numbers in lottery. That is about 12 zloty which makes it highest prize I got in lotteries yet.
Congratulations Drejk, hope the preparations are going nicely too. That it won't be too onerous.
And Monday morning.... *yawn* ....
Good morning FAWTLY Folk! Somewhat happy Monday! I only say 'somewhat' because....well....Monday.
Mondays can never be truly awesome.
Walking Dead was awesome last night. Unfortunately, I stayed up to watch Talking Dead afterwards. This morning I am regretting the less sleep.
Tonight, I'm helping my younger brother brew a more "traditional" mead.
By "traditional" I mean probably not nearly as good as the mead I usually make. Still, it should be interesting.
All right. Short and sweet this morning. Got s@@* to do. Later folks.
Been sick since friday...
