I have discovered that I can't abide the sound of someone eating yogurt or pudding out of those little cups. The sound of the spoon against the plastic container drives me to distraction, especially when they get to the end and they are scraping down the sides of the cup with short rapid movements. Am I the only one who feels this way? GAH! Somebody is eating yogurt from a plastic cup... KILL IT WITH FIRE!!!
Weird...my original post misappeared.

The kids call it "hanging out."

Unfortunately I know what Skrillex is too.

Skrillex is collaborating on the Transmedia version of Warlords of the Apocalypse.

And he looks like Corey Feldman. Sorry, Mr. Shiny, you won't get the reference.

You know you suck as an electronic musician when a bunch of kids with guitars in a garage can play your song better than you can. What kind of setup is that one guy using for the wuh wuh effect - where he's waving his hand in front of the guitar? Do you know what it is named or how it works? Reminds me of the theramin in some ways.
I am so glad I had no clue what they were. I wish I still didn't.
I started with the 3rd Doctor and Jo Grant who was my second favourite companion before Donna bumped her down the list.
Doctors 3, 4, 5, (7 got short changed with bad scripts - never ever watch The Happiness Patrol - conversely Battlefield and The Curse of Fenric are two of the best Dr Who episodes ever) 9, 10, 11 are all great and are my favourites for different reasons.
Of the companions Adric, Tegan, Mel and Peri made me want to gouge out my eyes in frustration the most.
The best companions were Sarah Jane, Donna, Jo Grant, Romana 2, Leela, Mickey the idiot, Turlough, and K9.

Quick call the Corey hotline....
The Big Finish audioplays have done a lot to make me appreciate Doctor #6/Colin Baker more. I think he had some horrendous scripts in the TV series.
Tom Baker was my first Doctor, so he's my favorite. I've enjoyed the "modern era" of Doctor Who, and Tennant is my favorite of the bunch so far, but Matt Smith is growing on me.

I really liked Donna, especially since she broke the "doey-eyed companion falling in love with the Doctor" pattern. I liked how she dealt with him on her own terms.

Add me to the list of Dr. Who fans who got their start with Tom Baker. You never forget your first Dr. Who, like you never forget your first James Bond. Which, unfortunately, in my case was Roger Moore.

It sounds purtier than most badgers.

Hey, I was almost a year old when 'The Lost Boys' came out!
Every time I see Kiefer Sutherland I wanna wup him but good over Jami Gertz. Can't even watch 24.

Cleric, Oracle and Inquisitor are neeeded - not for healing but for all the condition/level/stat drain spells- restoration is key.
Then a front liner/big damage thing.
Rogues/Arcane Casters etc etc are all extra, fine witches have healing spells and infinite hexes to save spell slots so are better all round arcane casters, and a detective sound striker bard is better in a party than a rogue but none are essential.
Without at least one of the first group your dm is just spoon feeding.
You make the same mistake arcane casters have for decades, blind arrogance and fool logic. One battle oracle could do a module, one AM barbarian or arcane tosser could't. 4 Dread wraiths will ruin anyones day.

Good morning FAWTLY Folk! Happy Tuesday! Just ordered a hard copy of that Free RPG day adventure - Dawn of the Scarlet Sun. I'm also gonna download the free pdf, but since the hardcopy was only $5....
I also included in the order a copy of The Midnight Mirror module. It seems interesting.

Watched the director's cut of Alien last night. Such an awesome movie. For me, both that one, and Aliens are two of the quintessential sci-fi movies. Right up there with 2001, the original Star Wars trilogy, Bladerunner, and John Carpenter's The Thing.
Tonight, in fact, methinks I'll watch Aliens.
Although I've also got an urge to watch Kung Fu Panda. Not sure why.
All right, that's enough for now. Catch you people on the flip side.
