Why pure, delicious Haterade (tm) of course! I wouldn't drink anything else. That said, if you would like, please send him my email or better yet, invite him to the messageboards so he can enjoy the ponyfinder and brony threads; either would be fawsome!
You'll have to PM me your e-mail. It's been awhile. He's not on FB frequently (or if he is, he's notably lurking), but I'll pass along.

Oh and a "deliberate firestarter" flag for those threads whose sole purpose seems to be to either pick a fight or start an echo chamber when all the people who otherwise would fight just automatically hide the thread.
That button has been a godsend.
Get that trigger finger warmed up.

I approve of this course of action.

My job is really getting to me. It's not that it's getting worse; it's that it's not getting better and I am getting to a point where I can't take it anymore. I always try to take pride in anything I do, and it really bothers me that I know I my clients are getting substandard service from me because there are 300 of them and I have about 90 to 120 minutes per day to address their issues.

Dang. Sorry to hear it, CH. I know what you mean about being prevented from doing good work. :(

I don't think "yellow press" is the term you are looking for. In English, that refers to sensationalist, misleading journalism.

Just because something is binary doesn't mean it can't be still be complicated. I forget how many pages long my name is in 1s and 0s.
Freehold DM wrote:Aberzombie wrote:Men tend to be binary, women are...ah...polyary? This is a great truth. If ever there came a time when we men finally understood them, you would know for certain that the universe was about to end in seconds. Not in my experience.
Actually this notion that men are somehow more simple baffles me. Especially when my husband says it right after we've had some major misunderstanding because he was upset with me for not being able to read his mind.....right. Sorry, but no. You don't get to say you're simple and then act complicated. :/
Going back and forth between social circles that are made up of girls and ones made up of guys I find that both sets have complicated social rules that somehow you're supposed to learn by observation which isn't always so easy and that whichever set of rules you know seems simple and the set you don't know seems mysterious and complicated. And for those of us caught in the middle both sides are maddening.

I was just filling out an online form, and the dropdown box for 'Title' that usually contains Mr./Miss/Ms/Mrs./Dr./etc. also contained options for 'The Honourable', and 'Dame'.
It took an act of great will to resist representing myself to this organization as 'The Honorable $MYREALNAME'.
(I know that's a title that has a specific meaning, and I wouldn't *actually* do it, but it was so tempting, because it's not a normal option.)

I still want the title, "His Grace, the Duke of Suffolk*".
*Suffolk County, NY, naturally.

Dame Welham has a certain ring to it...
My real name isn't British enough to carry off a 'Dame' appellation, more's the pity.
Though it would work nicely for the (sadly retired) character upon whom this forum alias was based. 'Dame Lindisty Alexander' sounds quite appropriate, I think.

In agreement about shoes. I wear 13, but I hardly have an arch. Most tennis shoes tend to have them built in. And I prefer a cushioned sole.

leads a conga line through the thread
First meeting with staff in the new workspace completed with minimal whining, donuts distributed, last move clean-up details sorted.
I feel good about myself today!
glad to know someone's day is going better than mine...
winces reflexively as sparks fly from FHDM's day
damn. Thought I fixed that the first time...

OK, OTD has gotten to me so I'm pulling a Patrick (<3 u Patrick!) and closing it off. I'm on FB or PM if you need me. It's not that I am tempted to get into fisticuffs; it's just seeing the ugliness at the core of some psyches has shaken my faith in humanity and made me feel very unwelcome at Paizo.
