Orthos, be careful, taking about other threads tends to drag trolls into here

I had Pretzel bites with that crappy cheese whiz plus a blue berry icee.

$11.75. $11.75! And this was with the free upgrade from regular to large for checking into the venue via FourSquare.

My Ultrascreen 3-D ticket was $11.50.

There's a reason why I usually smuggle in food and beverages.

$5 movie ticket for the 5:50 basic show makes the $8.75 for the pretzel bite combo a little easier.

Did your theater have the Joss Whedon brand of pretzel bites and popcorn? When did that come out? It was FAWESOME! I hope every theater has to have that all the time.

Spoiler:

$5 ticket? Mine was still matinee on a Friday. I'm going to go back and see it again, but I'll watch it on 2-D instead and see if my student ID can knock it down a buck or so.

I'll go without a beverage, but I'm smuggling in food.

Movie theatres charge redicolous prices for food. With that price of that combo is the same without shipping of a player companion redicolous.
