Have your boss yell at you because a client referred to your phone manner as "gruff" and you learn that there is a business appropriate level amount of small talk for clients with whom you do regular business.
Likewise, I have a foreign associate with whom I trade triathlon/bike stories. it helps that she has a sexy french canadian accent

I would like to say that the full version I got of X-com 2 didn't crash and that it was only your hacked copy.. I would like to say that...
At least it auto saved often.
He told me that it crashed when he gave it to me, so I kind of expected it. But it was frustrating because I wanted to keep playing it.

I just saw that there is a bundle of the 5 original games on steam for $15. Maybe I'll pick it up sometime.

Moments that make you proud as a parent.
Crookshanks asked me yesterday "Before I turn 16 in a couple of weeks and work with you, can you get a few bags of gravel and sand so I can practice building a patio before I start".
So, I guess I'm going to the gravel and sand store on my home from work today.

XCOM 1 was awesome. XCOM 2 was even more awesome (Especially if you had played the first first).

Only one I've ever played was the original. And I mean the old DOS one from the mid '90s, just to be clear.

Ah. That is one that I eventually need to get around to playing. Having said that, the new XCOM series is well worth playing.

Yep, it's why I'm so very happy I don't have to deal with clients directly. I tend to mention this when I'm interviewing.
Give me a quiet desk or cube and let me work and don't make me deal with the phone any more than absolutely necessary, and I'm set.

OK, color me baffled.
This morning I checked my bank account and found a coronavirus relief deposit in it.
I should not be getting this!!
There were *so* many articles on who was eligible and who wasn't, and we aren't, and we've both kept our jobs. So I have no idea WTH is going on with the IRS.
But I guess it's time to buy another gift card for another local business...
EDIT: Ah, it's Impus Minor's fault. "For each child age 16 or younger in the family, parents will get a payment of $500."
So it doesn't matter how much you make, if you have kids you get $500 per kid. I still feel like if you're over the cutoff, you really don't need the checks, so give 'em to people who need it. That's what I'll be doing with mine.

Better check the conditions and if it really is it before doing anything with it. The various scammers and such crawled out of their gutters during the pandemic trying even more sh*t.
On the positive note, the leader of a gang that was conning elderly people with grandkid in need scam in Poland was recently caught by the police.

You may know all this:
Below 198K for a married couple is entitled to some form of stimulus.
At 198K for a married couple is where it all phases out.
And then the 500/child. Not sure if that is subject to phase out or not. It is always in a separate sentence, so it is not clear to me at least and I am too lazy to read the full law.
If you have not yet filed your 2019 tax return, then it based on your 2018 return...so if you or your spouse had lower income in 2018, you may be getting the benefit of that.
Or they could have just f@@$ed up.

Yep. It reads just like Pathfinder rules. "If it's in a separate sentence, even if it's in the same paragraph, then it's a separate rule."

The red dragon is wise. I have keys for X-COM: Enemy Unknown, X-COM: Terror from the Deep, and X-COM: UFO Defense.

Alternatively, there is currently a Humble Bundle that includes the first X-Com of the most recent series for $18.50. It comes with a bunch of others games as well. If you're interested in X-Com and even one or two of the other games in there (Borderlands, for instance, is a fantastic co-op FPS), it's probably worth it.

It is definitely Impus Minor's sole fault that he picked such late year to be born that he is 16 or younger now. You and GothBard are completely blameless and beyond reproach in that matter, on the other hand.

Nice bundle... Except I already have all of the fun games and I am completely uninterested in the rest. Well, maybe except Sid Meier's Pirates...

So, you start with 35/29/28/25/25/25 scores...
Then divine ranks, skill points, a minimum HD equal to twice the ranks, maybe. Definitely the Creative Blood, so that sounds like a minimum of 6 ranks, then...
Or maybe in PF a red dragon with three tiers and the divine source...
