Well I promised the kids they could watch a movie on the computer, so I reckon I'll make good on my promise.

I never saw the sequel, but the first was funny as hell.

Walmart had both for $5 a couple weeks ago so we grabbed it. Just been busy.

Catch you later Sibby! :3

Don't make me start singing the creeper dude song. ;3

*sigh*

Spoiler:
Fight with the wife is NOT the best way to start the day.

Yup. She's the queen of (oYo) and the BttH giver, First Lady of FaWtl, Solnes.

Pronounced Soul-ney.

Apparently, I've been saying it wrong in my head all these years.

Well gotta go grocery shopping then lunch. See you later.

Wow, busy morning. I still hope I can get some lady/ies interested in my PbP. Guys playing elves, I've posted stuff for you pondering.

Solnes burned a use of Countersong, make a reroll.
I'll tack a resistance and Owl's Wisdom on top of that.
Meh. I'm outies. I failed the roll yesterday, but my reroll (Thanks Solnes and Mac!) is standing firm. No politics on a gaming site. Too many trolls abound. The Prime Directive is in effect again =)

It was nice to have you there for a little bit.

Indeed, unfortunate to lose you. Still, I respect your decision, even if I don't agree.

If it is what I think it was ... yeah. A trolloping, indeed. At least I was being more diplomatic in my dissent.

I was thinking the RP 2012 thread.

Did Friday the 13th hang around for an extra day?

My partner's daughter works at the store and doesn't drive, so I went to pick her up on my way in this morning. After a 10+ minute wait, her housemate tells me her dad picked her up an hour ago. Arg1.

So now I'm late where I was early/on time before. I decide to take the fastest way I can think of to work on these rain-slicked roads. As I am slowing for a stoplight, a fire truck pulls out of a pizza store's parking lot in front of me, lights flashing. I stop, but the guy behind me skids into my car. Arg2.

So we have to wait forever for the police to arrive and do their report. In the meantime, the knee that hit the dashboard is getting more and more sore, and so is the hipbone connected to that kneebone. Arg3.

I get to the store and try to find out if my employee is even going to be here. My cell received a call at 10:08 while I was busy with police and suchlike, so I try to return it to see if it is her dad's phone. I can return the call, but it puts me into some sort of security system that wants me to enter my SSN to identify myself. WTF? Arg4.

I called my partner to see if she knew what was going on and got voice mail. Arg5.

So I am here by myself with a gimpy leg, not knowing what the heck is happening. :-( I'm off to call the insurance company and dig up an icepack.

Really need to get you and yours up here for Medieval Fun Day.
When is that? We're only 3 hours away.
Usually we do it in October. Are we friends on FB or are you like Freehold and refuse to have one? :P

Yep, Joe F is my evil alias

And I still have not gotten coffee. And the dance studio upstairs is in full swing.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Nope, not leaving fawtl. Just political discussions on a gaming site. It only leads to Trollery. Witness the last few posts

and for the record I am in favor of legalizing everything mentioned over there. That's kinda the message of Libertarianism. I'm sick of people warping the message to mean we want to be ruled by corporations or neocons

The sentiment is much appreciated! I had a moment of coffee-deprived nerdrage when we seemed to be out of coffee filters, but there's a new package. Soon, the Dunkin Donuts French Vanilla will be ready. Don't mock, it's good stuff!

Spoiler:
I don't know. She said some things I can't quite get past, and this isn't her first time saying them. I'm beginning to feel that everything I do isn't ever going to be good enough, and that the things I get wrong are constantly exacerbated while the things I do right are minimized or even ignored. She says she is not happy in the relationship, but states that she can't live without me. I think this is going down an ugly road, and that it will get worse before it gets better.

Well I'm stupid. She's graduating this morning, so she and her mom are both at the ceremony. I knew that, but it wasn't marked on the calendar so I forgot. Derp.

I'm sorry lovey. Hopefully things will work out. I know hubby and I have said some of the same things to each other over the years, and that he feels at times that no matter what he does I feel it isn't good enough. (((hugs))) Those kinda fights aren't fun. If you need to vent or talk things out drop me an email. or I can email you the store number and you can call me.

Not a big Vanilla fan, but I like the DD original! :)

Suddenly very sleepy.

FF section reworked, new girl hired, French fries reheated and consumed. Feels like nap time! Stoopid work!

Yeah...my wife also thinks DD is coffee, and the rest of my family thinks that flavored coffee is coffee. Only J11 have I raised in the Purity of Truth. She burst forth from my palate like a virgin goddess of wisdom, fully grown. Damn, did that wrack up a dental bill. Ah well, it was well worth it.

Except that she thinks Starbucks is coffee, instead of burnt dirt...

Does anyone just drink plain black coffee any more besides me?

Bitter Thorn wrote:

I drink coffee with cream or half and half, no sugar.

There's a fan fiction section at your job? THAT'S AWESOME!!!

Ugh, and now puffin rage. It's my own fault, I even wrote the graduation on the work calendar. But they've been talking about the party so much that I forgot. Sometimes I worry about Altzheimer's. :(

I think SB has actually gotten better about over-roasting. I find it uncommon these days.

BT: I usually drink black coffee. Dairy is for espresso drinks...or upset tummy days.

Spoiler:
Not sure if I can offer any help, but you have my sympathy. Sometimes we say things and shift our attention away from the things we don't like in our lives towards the person in front of us. In effect you become the magnet for everything that's wrong or that we're unhappy with. It's not fair, but I've caught myself doing that a number of times and not realizing it until later. Doesn't make it any easier on the target of our venting. The second problem can be the inability to 'dig yourself out of the hole' that you've created. The hole seems insurmountable. It takes a lot of time and effort to do so, and you hit failures along the way.

Anyway, my 2cp, based on my discussion with my daughter a couple of nights ago and some self-reflection on my own part. Our lives are filled with so much stress these days I fear a lot of people are cracking under the strain. Good luck.

Probably that darn Some-Timers. I suffer from that.

What was I saying?

Treppa my dear. I sorry.

I drink tea, with a shade of milk and a spoon or two of sugar in it.

Hope things get better for you Freehold and Treppa both.

Freehold: Hang in there, happens to all of us. Moroccan does sound good!

Moorluck: How could that be wrong? ;-)

Kajehase: I hope that's some really strong tea!

Man, was just watching a slideshow of all the Helsinki Cathedral pictures on Flickr. So cool. I need to go to Finland.
