Or, at least, let us be baconed!
Nekkid bacon happiness! Woot!!!
Just remember what ol' Jack Burton does when the earth quakes, and the poison arrows fall from the sky, and the pillars of Heaven shake. Yeah, Jack Burton just looks that big ol' storm right square in the eye and he says, "Give me your best shot, pal. I can take it."
Morning FAWTL. Hope ya'll have a good day now. :)
Awesome movie. I should watch it sometime soon. It also gave me my favorite toast:
Here's to the Army and Navy and the battles they have won. Here's to America's colors, the colors that never run. May the wings of liberty never lose a feather.
I was reading through my PDF copy of City of Locusts last night. Damn! That's some serious fighting the PCs have to do.
But it's times like that when I miss my old gaming group from Philly.
Ah well, time to get going. Take it easy FAWTLY brethren, and try to have a FAWESOME day!
Putting something inside my belly could be a good idea.
I need to regain strength after carrying 20 thousand pounds around.
lb's or £'s
Since if you could keep a bit of the later, that'd be good.
Morning, all. What did I miss?

All of this gaming talk gives me an itch... I need a tabletop game!
:D
Yep, that'd be fun. It reminds me of the current trio of group-meme's from our Sunday game.

The later. In the form of boxes of 30-40 iphones worth 600-800 each.

I missed people talking about how young they are but I still win in that category.

I say again, WTF?!? Looks like my wunian TV edit dance was a bit too potent... You also took out Archer and Almost Human for a couple weeks, and may have blinded poor Bob Costas. What kind of Wunian Jazz-handsy Great Ghost Dance mojo are you working there?

I'll lay off em for a while.

Man, those are some powerful pelvic thrusts you have!

Need to settle a dispute. Does the term "enlightened barbarian society" make sense?

What MagusJanus said, save I think it has become a trope, at least when linked to a specific culture - native American, Mongolian and Celtic have become go to cultures for this kind of thing.
Oddly enough, I haven't been inspired to work on Esvel in ages... @__@

Talk to Orthos. He's got that magic.
Freehold DM wrote: What MagusJanus said, save I think it has become a trope, at least when linked to a specific culture - native American, Mongolian and Celtic have become go to cultures for this kind of thing. Our Orcs are kind of like Germanic berserkers. Less evil, more "oh boy time to fight!"

Just saying that my current experience is running counter to that expectation is all.

Aeglos, where in Germany do you live?
Badger-daughter is going to Kassel in June for a month for an exchange program, and I wondered if that was far from you.

Short blog entry today. Next one should wrap up the creation myth and then I can get to explaining a bit about all these races in detail.

Scintillae wrote: Need to settle a dispute. Does the term "enlightened barbarian society" make sense? If I recall correctly, if we think of Mongols as a type of barbarian society, then there's an historical basis for it. I'm remembering a TV special about Genghis Khan. His capital city was supposedly welcoming to people from many other cultures, especially artists, philosophers, and holy men.
Rawr! wrote: We've got over two inches of snow and more is on the way! I spoke to some friends from Philly yesterday, and they're supposedly due for 10-12" of the evil, frozen sky water.

Currently the subject in question is Orcs.... Eberron had orcs as noble savages. In fact, they were the ones who taught other races how to be druids in that setting.
