It's good not to feel it when you're on your way to work. Accidents happen that way.
I received a bottle of Citrus-flavored vodka as a gift this morning. If I wasn't to tired from last night's graveyard shift, I'd be punk drunk right now.
I guess I can hit a shot or two when I waked up this afternoon.

I might, if I end up coming out for it. My in-laws live just outside seattle... I wonder how much it's gonna cost all in all. If I can swing it after looking into my honeymoon this winter I'll be there. It would be pretty awesome to meet all of you IRL.
I would really like to go back to PaizoCon next year. Now to find the money somewhere and convince my wife it is a good idea.

His photography hasn't been very profitable, but he has found a few Italian teaching jobs that popped up randomly. (High school Italian teachers aren't exactly in demand.)
One pays really well, in the NYC area. Yes, yes. I know. We just moved. But the job would be worth it, and is long term (i.e. his contract would be up for renewal the next year - no set end date).
The other is here in L.A., and is just a maternity leave fill-in, but that would be a great help for the time being. Apparently they are desperate to find a qualified Italian teacher for this position - only a handful of schools in Southern California offer it, so no one around here really gets a certification in it.
I should have specified. By "NYC area," the job is actually in New Jersey. Does your offer still stand, because I would understand if you want to withdraw it based on that information ;)

I initially considered flying out on the 4th, but will instead fly out on the morning of the 5th in order to minimize the number of nights my wife is left to fend for herself with Charlie. If I could, I'd bring them with me, but they'd have nothing to do while I was at the con.

Morning, all. What did I miss?
Well, John and Jim decided to put aside their rivalry over Natasha in order to find out who had been leaving her threatening messages on random city billboards. Meanwhile, Samantha was concerned over Harry's health, not realizing it was all a ruse so that he could sneak out and go gambling. And, across town, Margaret surprised everyone when she grew.....No, wait! That my soap opera!
The Brothers Grimm was a big disappointment for me. You are the first person I know who likes it.

why would I be desirous of the bastardization of an earlier work that will alienate an existing fanbase by creating a new one that is convinced that the newer version from a completely different creative team operating without the acknowledgement of the original is superior?
