So, as you know, we started Charlie at his new daycare on Monday. So far he seems to be doing great and really enjoying it. True, he cries when we drop him off, but the morning teacher tells us he usually is fine once we leave and she finds a toy for him to play with.
One thing I have noticed, however, is that when we get him home in the evening he hasn't been giving us any trouble going to bed. I think this new place has a lot more activity for him and he's getting tired out.

The wife and I are regular watchers of NCIS. That and Once Upon a Time are our two "both watch" shows.
Last night's episode of NCIS (the first of a 2-parter) - WHOA!!!
** spoiler omitted **
I'm surprised alphabet soup cop show has been on the air for so long and on so many different channels.

Frankly, so am I. Of course, it's nothing like what the real NCIS goes through. Still, I think part of it is good chemistry among the cast.
Plus Mark Harmon - dude's awesome and a complete bad ass. Kind like a lesser version of John Wayne.

I'm trying to redeem the term by making it a hallmark of the undead. I do this just for you.

He does this to keep you in his thrall.

And now I imagined baby-sized this.

Lyn, didn't know if you'd seen this.
I hadn't seen that. That's pretty cool. Doubt I could convince the school to incorporate it, but I might try and work in some yoga as part of the morning routine. I can see why it would help since yoga incorporates a lot of the calming strategies and proprioceptive stimulation that the kidlet needs. Thanks for the link. :)

Good afternoon, FaWtL.
Last night I fell asleep with both my arms contorted, so I woke up with both of them completely numb.
I never had so much difficulties getting out of bed as I did today. First I tried to turn off the alarm, which of course didn't work as the arms did not respond. Then I tried to get out, but I got tangled with the sheets, which got even more tangled as I tried to un-tangle them.
And then, to top it off, I tripped on a pair of pants and fell to the floor, with no arms to help! A chair sort of helped me turn sideways and fall on my shoulder rather than my face.
T'was an interesting way of starting the day.

You're very welcome. It's good to have lots of tools for your toolbelt!

That used to happen to me on a nightly basis. I'm still to this day not sure why, nor why it no longer does.
I'd just sit there in bed and flex my fingers until feeling came back and/or I saw them start to move.

That is very disconcerting.

Funny you should mention that,...
I just saw (sometime within the last few days) a report on the evening news that said some school was being sued BECAUSE they dared to teach some kids yoga! Supposedly the parents that brought the lawsuit were enraged that their children were being taught Buddhism in school.
Even if that were true, there are SO many other things for me to get enraged at happening in school these days,... ;P

Eventually, we will get to the point that any form of PE is evil. Just wait.

Oh, noes, because teaching children moderation in all things and being nice to others is terrible thing!

Um,... Where have YOU been?!?
PE IS EVIL!!!! EVIL I TELL YOU!!!
:)
It is unholy abomination of sweat, pain and forcing us to move!
Yeah, I hated PE. Especially anything involving running.
If we had more swimming and more exercises fitted individually instead of the same exercises for everyone it could be better. Plus yoga could be interesting...

I recall that story - they were opposed to the idea that they wet being taught yoga because they thought it was religious indoctrination or some such.
