So this Saturday I'm going to probably be play-testing a wargame that a friend has written...

But darn it, this weekend is the Viking festival in York. One friend was possibly planning on going there for shopping (and drinking) before her husband gets home from overseas. And then there's Old Corpse Road playing at a pub in the city centre too, however last train home is 10pm.

Scarab Sages

I don't want to be at work today. I really don't.

Mrgh?!?

Yeah, there's a hilarious commentary on the US (ADV) release with the US voice-artists where they are having fun with the show.

Scarab Sages

And my baby girl was really cranky last night. She eventually calmed down when daddy got hold of her, but it was....noisy....for a while.

Methinks it had something to do with the Left <redacted> of Doom.

Scarab Sages

All right folks, I guess I'm gonna log off and go get some stuff done. See y'all on the flip side.

Can you maybe LARP the wargame at the Viking festival?

It's making you stronger. Without strong zombies, otherwise, how will the end of days be horrible?

Hello

Heya, all.

Is there any market for pinky toe transplants? (other than the obvious)

'Cause I'll donate both of mine. All I do with them now is smash them into some floor-bound object once or twice a week... so it's likely I'm just gonna accidentally snap one or both off before much longer anyway. And maybe with them gone, it'll be easier to wear fancy shoes.

I think the Jiggle Counter was hilarious.

Kajehase, I hope you like what I've done with your inspiration from a couple weeks ago. :)

The post will be up in another three hours. I want the meowls to enjoy their spotlight for a little more.

Ouch. Sorry to hear about the toe mishaps.

Ouch! I hope that you stop banging it soon! That must hurt...

My big toe of left foot shows problems with nail. Too much standing/crappy shoes.

Treasury Of The Sands is now available!

When I make my next Paizo PDF purchase, I will buy that too, Drejk. :)

It's on my list as well!

You need a longer shoe. I used to get that all the time on my long foot when I played volleyball. The nail separates from the nail bed because of all the stress on it. Good luck - it's a real pain.

Does anyone have a blog site they recommend using? I will need one for posting some of these conversions.

I don't have a recommendation but am interested in the answer as well.

Actually my nail grows into the sides of the toe, not separates from nail bed. I will survive the next month and half, somehow.

That's not good. Make sure you wash your feet very carefully until you can get it looked at or it can turn properly nasty.

Almost 102,000 posts and still going strong. I'm impressed, pmg!

Just another 102,000 posts to go after that ^^

I propose we celebrate!

Nah, I lived through it multiple times in my life. Usually I solved it with scissors and a bit of disinfectant.

Yawn. Time to sleep. Less than eight hours before getting up for work.

Sleep well!

Rugby and Bagpipes?

Sounds like a good weekend of entertainment.

So, what kind of fireworks do we want for this?

Fission bombs in high Earth orbit are pretty...

Do we have any undiscovered Midgard fiction writers among the FaWTLies?

Last thing to share before I go to bed - remember earlier when I had said I was going to be editing QUILTBAG erotica? The company liked my work so much they want me to become one of their editors full time. I'm not going to be able to quit any of my jobs, but I'm getting another contract to back for the third job with better pay and benefits as a full editor.

I'm happy. Very happy. Also a little drunk.

Freehold, thank you for the suggestions!

And, grats! I hope you have a long and happy career!

Ooo, my Razor Coast group is about the get their own ship. I bet I know what they will be encountering soon...

Tomorrow, I should begin putting up details of the campaign setting my group used and currently uses. It should be interesting to include with Pathfinder, given some of the variants we came up with.

It also includes a lot of magic items as well as a variant form of tattoo magic. And variants of things like potions, scrolls, etc.

I'm also working on adapting the alternate spellbook construction rules that 3.5 had. I think it was in Ultimate Magic...

And, actually, managed to get a workable adaptation of the wild mage going, so that means I will adapt it and various wild magic spells.

The gods will be interesting to adapt...

I'm also not certain if I should adapt the runic spell system we devised. It was more than a little overpowered, but that was kinda the point; a person traded a lot of flexibility for being extremely powerful in a few key areas.
