Thanks. Actually, I'm a lot better off than a lot of people. I just grouse more than my fair share, and don't take stock of the good things as much as I should.
I'm working, I have a mostly good family life, and a lot of friends that are just as nutty as me. :D

So, my smartphone went all awry. I can no longer make calls with it, although the internet works. I'm not eligible for a phone upgrade until May.
So I'm testing something. I have reactivated an old non-smart (stupid?) phone and am seeing whether I miss my data plan. I'm tired of being glued to my phone, and am wondering whether a simpler phone that just makes calls will actually be an improvement. It's so easy to get in the habit of constantly checking the phone for emails, FB updates, Paizo, etc. If I don't miss it, I'm sticking with simple phones and saving the money.

Just got off the phone with my mom. Though miserable, she can still get her Irish up. Hehe, gotta luv it. Plus at her age she doesn't hold back. ~Why don't they have small size dressing gowns? It's too dang noisy, etc. Hehe

Yep. I'm the youngest of 7, and we all live within 45 mins of each other. Some of the next generation have spread out some, but not my siblings and I.
People want to visit my mom but she doesn't want us to, because the prep for the procedure isn't too pleasant or modest. Dang hospital gowns and their open backs. Heh She sounds tired, but good.
They're so cute when they're at that age. :)
And you can't fault his taste in music...
UPDATE: They're doing a colonoscopy and upper GI on my mom tomorrow, so the bleed looks internal. The good news is that the bleed is small, and her hemoglobin level is on par with her last doc appt. (slightly anemic)
