Just watched Your Name with GothBard, and I'm afraid it's one of those movies that doesn't live up to its hype, but it is only because the hype is so amazingly over-the-top that it sets a high bar indeed.
Your Name is a very, very, VERY good film. If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend it. It's extremely Miyazake-like.
But it's not life-altering. It probably won't be your favorite anime of all time. And the people who call it unbelievably sad are just... er... wrong?
But yes, I really enjoyed it and I'm glad I bought it instead of renting it so I can watch it again soon.
But after that I don't think I'm going to watch it again and again and again, like Spirited Away or My Neighbor Totoro...

Speaking of Miyazaki, he is very hit-or-miss for me. I really like...four of his movies, but mostly the rest of them do nothing for me. Like Spirited Away? Great! Totoro? There is no plot, it's just one extended scene, I have no interest in it.

I'm on a conference call for work right now. At the very beginning it was just me and the project manager, who's in Seattle.
He starts it off with...
"Oh, we've got beautiful weather today. Sun is shining, no rain, no wind, and a wonderful temperature!"
"Screw you."
He laughs.
"You gave us your weather."
"Oh, how so?"
"It's 35, raining, windy as hell, and overcast."
"Oh...yeah...well, at least you don't have to worry about that because you're going to be on this phone call for the next several hours."
"Yeah, and you won't get to enjoy your beautiful weather for the exact same reason."

Don't do that next time. You shouldn't be running if you can't see where you're going... I wouldn't run in a drizzle since it'd get on my specs and I wouldn't be able to see. If there's a hailstorm, try to take cover since hail can get very big.
