Our next game is supposed to feature us, as inter-planetary aliens, come to convert a polytheistic Egyptian based world to our monotheism.
This GM likes to present very limited options, all of them bad, in order to drive some moralistic point home. This time he says the idea is how far will go you in the name of a "good cause".
My first character is going to be a paladin bard, and she will be unwilling to break any eggs to make that omelet. No eggs. No compromise on being good.
He's going to kill her quickly, I think.
My next character is also already planned. Based on Reddington from The Blacklist.

They say that generally novice drinkers are sweet tooths. Since I didn't start drinking until like recently maybe about 4-5 years ago, I'd say I'm pretty new to this drinking things.

Now I don't have doomhammers or jade claws(mine are made, as I said, out of keratin).
Here's what I tried to aggro shaman with:
1 dust devil
2 earth shock
2 lightning bolt
1 Sir Finley Mrrgglton
2 Tunnel Trogs
2 Cackles
2 Eternal Sentinels
2 Flametongue totems
2 Lava shock
2 Rockbiter Weapon
2 Whirling Zap-o-matics
2 Feral Spirits
1 Lava Burst
2 Unbound Elemental
1 Fireguard Destroyyer
2 Flamwreathed Faceless
2 Jade Lightning

Kill the dust devils they die before you ever get to attack and the overload slow syou down to much. put in another lava burst. if you have him by chance instead of the fire guard you could put in leroy but since I assume you don't have him that 4/2 charge might be the next best bet. I'm not liking the eternal sentinels. I wish you had the claws they so helpful. the 1/1 death rattle draw +1 spell power guy would be excellent too.
Doom hammer hurts more then anything that card does so much work. Oh and make sure your just always going for face as much as possible.

And wonderful news from work... They're considering putting me back on mail.
They're already on their third replacement after me. It's never getting done on time. And they're getting tired of my general unfriendliness towards the students. Despite the fact I'm the only person who's manned that window for a long period that didn't generate complaints.

Well i assume formula D is a race car game. I think if that assumption is correct I kind of get the idea about the rest.

All right I've gotten to that Green Tea Pound Cake.
I started tweaking the recipe.
What I used instead was:
2 cups self raising flour
130 g sugar
200 g butter
4 eggs
3 tablespoon green tea powder (maccha)
150 ml of water
2 tablespoons milk powder
So it was sieve the flour, greentea powder and milk powder together.
Beat the butter and sugar together, then add 4 eggs.
Add the sieved flour, greentea powder and milk powder. (in 3 batches)
Add 150 ml of water.
Preheat the oven at 160 degrees for about 30 min.
Put the batter in and bake.... how long, I don't know. Waiting for my nose to tell me, but I'm expecting at least an hour.
Not sure at this point of time if it's going to turn out well. We'll have to wait until its done.

Yes argent commander just because he can be surprise 4 damage. maybe even twice.

I don't have bloodmage thalnos, I ran out of lava bursts, and I don't have argent commanders. If you want argent horseriders, yes. No jade claws either.
Horserider 2/1 charge Divine Sheild? yeah He was good when I ran him long ago. would work well with the flame totem too.

So just replace Fireguard destroyer + dust devil with 2/1 horserider charge with divine shield? Any other tweaks?

Dial-up is like teaching a kid to ride a bike and then cutting off one of his legs. He might still get where he wants to go but not by any means fast.

Why, for the love of mercy, am I awake this early on a Saturday?
Oh, yeah. Because I have to prep for the family game tonight, and I have to be ready to make things on my end really fast-paced so when the kids get bored with Whingey Wizzard dithering over his turn, there's no way he can blame the game pace on me instead.
Also, we haven't played since January 13th and I forgot where we were.
Time for coffee!

I was surprised by an example of government efficiency recently. I filed my taxed last week, and the IRS said I would likely get my refund between March 15th and 20th, but I got it yesterday. Now to wait for the state refund.
I had the same thing happen. I was told I wouldn't get my refund before February 27th and I got it on the 22nd instead..
Anything else I say will definitely result in flaming bikes, so...

Played some Formula D tonight with two of my friends. I'd played only once before, while they play twice a month in a league, but we decided to try running two cars each for two laps. They both wrecked one of their cars on the first lap, while I somehow managed to not only keep both of mine in the race, but I took 1st place. And 4th. And they invited me to come check out the league, which I may be able to do.
Fun game, we played Coup & Deception last night (with a reduced # of players due to snow)

Unfortunately, that would allow the forces of the Abyss to enter the realm, killing her cheating boyfriend and everyone else with him. The valiant heroes must stop the Good Princess before it is too late!
