Just arrived Wednesday and Impus Major (of course) had to put on, "No Grave but the Sea for Dogs".

Which is an even better album, because it contains an "explicit lyrics" warning.

Darn those dirty dogs!

(For those who don't know, as a joke, Alestorm put out "No Grave but the Sea" as a two-CD set: One CD is the album, and the other CD is the "for dogs" version where all lyrics have been replaced by dogs barking. So somehow, some of those dog barks contain 'explicit lyrics'. No, I cannot explain.)

Have you tried playing it to a dog?

F~@$ing A man, that's some f++&ed up s~$&! G@##$@n f*#*ing A! where did those a%&$+&@s learn to motherf$&%ing bark like that.

I refuse to believe, that time exists before 7:00 a.m

1 person marked this as a favorite.

I can tell you it does since That is what time I get off work.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Wow, you woke up so early! It's like... 15 minutes before I wake up!

I apparently don't fit into Spaniard standards of going to bed at 00.00 or later and waking up 9.00 or later.

I love waking up early and going for a walk with empty streets. Even when I have to work at 8.00 I always get up early so I can go for a walk before I get to job.

I definitely need a dog to walk in the morning and to teach me dirty dog words.

It doesn't. The ones who wake up early unbox it when they wake up so everybody can make use of it.

To paraphrase Jimmy Buffet, "it's always 7:00 AM somewhere."

Man, it was so incredibly much easier to do things when you don't have the kids with you in the car. Like, it is incredible how amazingly fast everything is, and how amazingly easy it all goes. Everything happened so much more quickly!

And with those highly ninja thoughts out of the way, onto my eldest kindergarten graduation!

I was so busy, I didn't even comment!

This was great! They sang songs, used props, and got an "ABC Book" to use over the summer! Then we headed over to watch five year olds have no idea how to play twister, and decorate (and eat) cookies! One of the sets of grandparents were available to come, so they were there for the whole thing, too, and then decided to buy us a super-big lunch! We then went home and collapsed. Good day!

It does not. I am checking regularly since starting the job. Nothing there, except formless chaos of unexistence, a timeless, all-consuming, brain-draining void...

Monday, I'll raise a can of Budweiser to the memory of Preston Scott Gardner. Preston was a Scout in E Troop, 2 / 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment who died in early 1990 in a training accident at Graffenwehr, Germany. I'll spare everyone here the exact details of his passing. Once I've finished my can, I'll pour out another to honor his sacrifice during peacetime. Here's his death record.

Thanks, Kileanna. I was doing Phone duty back at the barracks in Bad Kissengen when it happened. But I did have the chance to attend his memorial a couple days later. He and I played D&D 2nd edition together, so it felt like I had lost a brother.

Or was it 1st edition? Some details are hazy this many years later.

Yes, homemade butter cookies with coarse cane sugar and cinnamon on top.

I'm finishing the characters since everyone else is blinded by summer.

Our party:

A human Shaman heavily inspired by Pam from Archer (all hail the Star Chicken!)

Sylph Swashbuckler, and "retired" Airship Captain.

A Hunter with a bear.

And a Druid with a T-Rex.

I wonder who is who...

Adds Stuffed Nordic Horse Castrator to the menu.

Does this rag smell like Chloroform?

Don't mention Kringle unless you brought enough for the rest of us.

The two reasons I miss Wisconsin: Kringle and deep-fried cheese curds.

For all the multiculturalism the Puget Sound can brag about I'll never understand why they think they can get by with substandard pastries and skimp on the cheese (I mean, c'mon, they fry Twinkies but cheese is too complex).
