Hipster? That hurts! And hobbits are booooring. I've always had difficulties with settling myself on the same place for a long time.
Halflings are a bit better buuut... I don't know, being just a Tasha is way better.

EDIT: I'm tired of being always barefoot! I decided I'd rather go completely naked!

I'm always happy to have a new devotee. Especially ones who shun clothing. Welcome, Acolyte!

Now, shake my hand.

Thanks, My Lord! When do I begin my clerical training?

Do I have to wear funny clerical garments? I am comfy with my birthday suit right now.

*'false' hand detaches at Tasha's grip*

Hmm. I might need that back after while.

Clerical training starts now! Put on this red nose, rainbow wig, and giant shoes! Dance for me! Take off those stupid clown accessories! Put on this jester hat! Tell me a joke! Not that joke! Not that one either! Burn that ridiculous hat! Do twenty push-ups! Draw male and female genitalia upon your skin in permanent marker! Wash all that nonsense off! Shave the dwarf! Glue the beard onto the elf! Come back when I've thought of more stuff!

NEVER CHANGE OUT OF THE BIRTHDAY SUIT!!!!

Hey, who stole and burned my hat? It was my favorite one!

How curious... this isn't very different from my bard training... This is going to be easy!

NobodysHome: watch this video for me, and teach me the important math parts!

(Unless you don't want to; that's fine, too!)

:D

EDIT: to be clear, it's set up that it's pretty clear and easy to understand, but I really didn't feel like watching a 30-minute video when I posted this. But now I'm, like, one-third of the way through, and I can't really stop, now. Dang it. XD

EDIT 2: Though I'd still like to hear your view on the mathematical principals.

sets link aflame, watches math burn

Its....beautiful...

You know (presupposing your conceptualization of "burning math" is correct*) you're also burning turtles, right? Turtles from the rain forest? That's, like, most of the video (the second 2/3s).

* It isn't, but I'll allow you to dream your bitter, bitter dreams.

puts on shredder outfit from the 80s

Tonight I dine on turtle soup!

How does it get weirder then gluing a beard into ones posterior?

Glueing it inside ones posterior?

Pfff...please, sometimes back-hair just grows all the way down there, and join with "posterior"-hair to make a beard-like mat...

...

...

...

Or so I have heard of cause!

If your back hair is mated we recommend seeing a groomer or vet. Someone clearly isn't taking proper care of you.

My Chinese friend got sick and had to go to the hospital. I went to see him, and he just kept whispering something over and over, and then died right there in front of me. At his funeral, I told his Mom what he was saying, assuming he was asking about his family. Turns out he was saying "You're standing on my oxygen tube."

Reminds me of...

I carry an EpiPen wherever I go. It's very important to me. A friend gave it to me as he was dying. It seemed very important to him that I have it.

"I'm sorry" and "I apologize" mean the same thing.

Unless you're at a funeral.

I have gone on record as noting I like the puns, too!

The jokes can be pretty solid, but I'm less about the dark humor. Still funny, though!

I'm probably going for some metamagics for the Witch because I might take her into spell perfection. No clue with the others. I was about to give the Sorcerer Improved Initiative but I had already given him that.

Improved Sunder for everyone!!

Nothing pisses people off more than when you break their s#++. Other than breaking it while their holding it in their hands that is!

And Grease you can't have too many minions casting Grease. Especially if you have someone with Freedom of Movement that can trip them.

Grease on the floor of a hallway + Stone Shape some horizontal stone spikes on the wall at the end of said hallway = OUCH!!!!

Dal would kill me if I gave his companions all Improved Sunder xD

"What are you doing with my loot?"

Actually sundering weapons might be an option for the Barb. As Dal has an intimidate build I might look for something that goes well with that.

As I am GMing for just one player I have 3 NPCs to complete the group. So they level up at the same time as him.

Man, don't get me started on Grease. Even in Book 6 of Rise of the Runelords it was causing me conniption fits. Stoopid giants and their low Reflex saves.

In the wonderful world of NobodysHome's schadenfreude, my family is very quickly learning that:

  • They have been guilty of tax evasion for 3+ years,
  • working with a property manager involves actual involvement, rather than just sitting back and getting a check at the end of the year.
  • Yes, it's utterly delightful watching them stressing about stuff I've been keeping them shielded from for the last 10 years.

(Other than the tax evasion -- I sent them the forms and figured their accountants would know what they were doing, but apparently not. Oh, well. Not my problem...)

This is their unwelcome introduction to the Law of Unintended Consequences. Oh, well. This is what they wanted, right? No point in them crying now. And, the Grease / Stone Shape trick was something I learned in the 1st Edition AD&D days.

I love Grease. I've had too many funny scenes with it.

I remember a disarm duel in S&S where the bard casted Grease on the rapier of her oponent.

I've given the Witch Persistent Spells. Now going for the Sorc.

And the verbal component is the lyrics to the song Stayin' Alive?

3 people marked this as a favorite.

I could do that but my god forbids me from wearing anything but my birthday suit or ridiculous outfits of his choice.

So bad. I liked the leather jacket as a focus for my spell. I had even learned the lyrics for «You are the one that I want».
