52 books on the front group of books, top shelf of the bookcase. Granted, they are softbound but still. The softbound books are three deep. Hardbound are only two deep.

These books have covers so they are not naked.

Some of my old books lost covers through the years...

I need at least 8 more bookcases. Probably ten. Karen would be upset if I took her office over to put my books there. She only got my stuff out of there earlier this year. ~looks at a book~ Stop breeding! I saw you multiply!

So have some of mine.

~looks around~ Time to do some rearranging this weekend. I promised that I would clear out the top three shelves of the bedroom bookcases so Karen could put her doll collection on them.

Plus if I fill up the bottom shelves, then the cats will not lay there and look at me challenging me to move them.

I can hear it now. "But Daddy, I am comfortable. I do not care if I am in your way. Pet me NOW!!!"

Those must be some very very young kittens, or you are really good at being subject to your own illusions.

Eh, if I will ever become rich, famous, young, and beautiful I might buy that just for [s[]hoarding compulsion[/s] completeness sake. I already have Complete Edition that I am unlikely to even install and play again with all the other games I have to play, and the games I have to replay, and the things I do beyond playing games, and not playing games when I don't feel like it.

Of course you are free. You are free to bring your cats some treats and maybe a cup of cream for now.

Olfactory illusion masking smell? Yeah, that's an adept grade illusion right here.

Pick a book. I am sure that I have forgotten that I have had it. I have about 20 duplicates that I give to friends or the used book store.

Well, Master of Orion I works on the laptop.

I shouldn't be so overjoyed that I found my PC copy of Plants vs. Zombies.

Having said that, I am VERY glad that I found the USB adapter for my corded X-Box 360 controller. I will be giving Fallout New Vegas and Borderlands I a go this weekend. I can then tell just how good the wifie's old laptop is.

Well, it's middle of the night here. Which means that I am sitting in front of computer instead of sleeping. What's more, I am just making myself dinner because why not*?

*actually I need to fry that meat today before it spoils and wastes. I hate wasting good food.

That is what she said. No. I meant to say, that is what I was thinking. NWN I only or NWN I & II?

I realize that I'm not quite a "regular" hear in FaWtL yet, but I'm on vacation, so that's my reason for the lack of posts.

Speaking of vacation, it is going great. Saturday went to Scarborough Fair (sorry, "Scarborough Renaissance Festival") where the little one placed 2nd place in the children's costume contest (pictures coming when I have time to upload them). Sunday we went to brunch with my parents and sister, then to dinner at my grandparents. Yesterday we went to the Ft. Worth Zoo, then had dinner with my wife's best friend and her fiance. Tonight we went to our old haunt, No Frills Grill, for one of my best friends' 30th birthday while my parents watched the baby. Tomorrow we are going back to my grandparents for awhile, then my wife is hanging out with her best friend and the kiddo while I go spend time with the guys. Thursday we head home.

EDIT: One of the photographer's at the fair just posted this. It's baby Krystalin and her aunt (my sister) Hailey during the costume contest.

Wir haben einen Kuchen. Der Kuchen ist köstlich. Vielleicht ist es ein leckeres Lüge. Warum gibt es einen Hefter in unseren Käse? Wir denken, dass die Eichhörnchen sind schuld.
