That's.... weird, certainly I have nothing to do with that, I wouldn't have the faintest idea on how to build a summer Collider;-) Mwahahahahaha.... crap! Did I say that last part aloud, also probably shouldn't have winked... wow this cartoon super villain s&#% is harder then I thought, maybe I should get tips from uncle Doctor Doom... Also why am I still talking out loud...

Heavy work day today, plus a sick 14-year-old means I'll be (blissfully) silent around here... today.
Of course since I'll be gone all weekend as well, it means I have to take care of what? 30-odd posts tomorrow? Ugh. My work is cut out for me...

Oh, it's just a simple cold. You should pity ME more than HIM! He gets like Greta Garbo in a Cecil B. DeMille classic every time.
A real interaction from his last illness, with names changed to protect the guilty:

NobodysHome: "Yeah, I'm here. What's up?"
IM: "Are you there father? I cannot see you. For you see, I have... The Cough!"
NH: "C'mon, IM, cut the cr*p. I'm at work right now. Tell me what you need, I'll go get it, and get some rest."
IM: "Oh, Father. I cannot be long for this world! For I have... The Cough!"
NH: "I'm waiting..."
IM: "Could you bring me... could you bring me... Cheesy Doodles and a soda?"

Still haven't started cleaning.... we have a birthday slumber party this weekend and i promised myself i wouldn't procrastinate until the last minute and utterly exhaust myself, like usual...... however old habits die hard.... *sigh* okay time to start:-)

My husband had eye surgery this morning. It went well and he is in recovery. Meanwhile I am slowly losing what's left of my mind being cooped up in the waiting room. ADHD and sitting and waiting for hours make a bad combo. I've been getting up and changing seats every so often like it was the mad hatters tea party and I keep tapping my feet and stuff, but still.....waiting room is so boring! Ugh. And it could be hours yet. :(
