I hope they give you a raise! Sounds like you need it.Monday is slowly coming to an early end (I'd like to go to bed earlier for a change, I am going for a morning shift for the rest of the week).
About six more weeks at work to get money I would like to have. Then maybe a week or two here and then, hopefully, I return home.
Snowman chance in hell. I am a temporary worker (like almost everyone else). There will be rise around October, though... Because minimum wage in UK is supposed to be increased in the Autumn. Won't do me any good, though, as I fully intend to be back in Poland by then.

Highlights of the session:
-4th session in, the rogue FINALLY gets a flanking buddy... just in time for the flanking buddy to withdraw.
-Rogue sending the owlbear fleeing by hitting it on the head.
-Druid and Monk trying to "help" the paladin "bend the truth." (It's not what you say, it's what you allow them to conclude.)
-Paladin getting offended at their commentary on her lack of gambling ability.
-Monk, Druid, and Rogue commentary on Paladin's comfortable (serviceable) clothing. Apparently alterations need to be made.
-"I am not throwing myself at the orc to get information!" "Hey, it's YOUR vow of honor."Fun times.
They sound fun!

Got a boardgame night organised for tonight, should be good craic. Less of a crowd than last time, but, sure, that just opens up more boardgames. Not sure what we'll be playing yet, maybe Seven Wonders, or Pictionary, or Pandemic, or Flash Point. Something fun anyways.

Isn't there a possibility of notifying the court that the mother already threatened to flee with the child when bringing the case to court (before the proceedings even start) and asking the court to take proper countermeasures?
Are you in any contact with her family - preferably parents - and how is their approach to her performance of maternal duties? Is there even a slim chance of gaining their support?

I apparently made a good impression on my students from my student teaching classes. They mentioned to their other teachers that I explained math in a way that "made sense."
One, who refused to do ANY work when I was there, started doing the classwork the last week of my teaching. When he found out I was leaving he was highly upset. "But I just started working! You explain things!"
I disliked the administration at that school, but loved the students and co-workers. I'd be tempted to work there regardless.
Duke, my chocolate Labrador mix "pup" (6 years old), isn't doing well. Awaiting word from the vet.
Kiddo discovered she can reach the china and breakables that she couldn't before.
On one hand, I love the music-focused show they added to the Baby First channel. On the other hand, the puppets are freaky looking.

The schools here just got a $300 annual raise. The community is patting itself on the back. I just had to point out... "You know that's less than a $20 per month raise, right?"

Vet is waiting on test results. They suspect it's either his pancreas, kidneys, or liver.
Given that we've had to put down 2 dogs in less than a year, I'm worried.

Happy note! Had an awesome Tuesday for once. It seems standing up for myself with my dad has been having a positive effect. He was far calmer and less demanding today than usual.

Bicycle repaired! Whoooo!I wish you better luck than my friend had. He spent about $150 getting his bike fixed up, then before having a chance to take it out for a ride, backed his truck over it and had to spend another $100 to fix it again.
Luckily I don't need a car. Just have to make sure to keep an eye out for old ladies who think it's a good idea to let their dogs stretch the leash across the road in hairpin curves in the middle of a steep hill...
