Didn't mean to dump on y'all, but this is my ONE safe venting place. Too many family and "well-meaning" people on Facebook to make THAT okay, and I usually avoid other forums.

S'ok. We rant here all the time.

Funny kid story for the morning (to counteract the roughness): At the library storytime this morning, two kids wore hats with propellers on them. Kiddo was fascinated by them. After trying (unsuccessfully) to get her to stop playing with the propellers, the other kids' mom said it was fine. Then the song "Wheels on the Bus" started... Kiddo decided to spin the propellers "round and round" instead of circling her arms. Parental laughter ensued.

Guh. I have found the thing I hate most in the world at the moment.

Packing.

Skyrim music is awesome. Game was totally worth the investment if for that alone.

Have you heard the Lindsey Stirling cover?

Packing's not so bad. After doing it so often in my college days, I'm kinda a whiz at it now.

Mind swinging by here? @_@

Rough morning, again.

Apparently, I'm not invested in my little one's life enough or else she wouldn't: have trouble with the potty, get into things, misbehave, hit me, *insert problematic toddler behavior here*.

I do so love when observers give such HELPFUL advice.

I'm sorry people are being stupid. While it takes village to raise a child, I also firmly believe the parents should be at the entrance to said village, checking tickets and validating parking.

Playing a mage in Skyrim? I thought you were trying to avoid frustration...

Sword-weilding, armor-wearing, Fireball throwing Nord. >.>

More Eldritch Knight than mage.

There's something immensely satisfying about roasting enemies before slicing to ribbons.

Plus they taste better than when raw.

Good luck with the little one. Hope you have better luck today.

And nice choice of pic for the Steam group. :)

I couldn't think of a more appropriate picture. =)

F@#k that s€$t. Even reading that boiled my blood. Kids will be bloody kids. Some times they're afraid of going potty. Sometimes elephants. Sometimes they don't even know what upsets them. The idea that is has any correlation to how much a parent is invested... grrrr. Arrogant, ignorant feckers.

I'm sorry you have to put up with people like that. I hope you enjoy the Skyrim and feel better.

Yay! Ahem... I meant: MUAHHAHAHAHHA!

I had my own minions today at work!

Congratulations! Might I recommend reviewing the Evil Overlord list?

Orthos has been my lackey (promoted from minion) since his roommate gave me his soul in exchange for leniency from my evilness.

IT LIVES! The art moratorium for Wayfinder #11 finally ended, and the amazing Michael Jaecks art for my addiction devil is live! Woo-hoo!

Edit: Treppa has an article in this issue too! Double w00t!

Woot indeed!

And me too! Woot if you want - I'm in the "God it's awful" stage of my relationship with it.

We're usually our own worst critics and disproportionately so... Judging by how hard it was to even get one submission into this issue, yours has to be good just by virtue of being accepted! So triple-w00t for Kajehase!

So it took me two weeks to reply to this because I wanted to do so on the laptop and not the phone (I should have had that damn modem a month ago and it's still not here for chrissake!).

And I know. Me relating to things I've written usually goes like this:

1) Just after finishing - This is the best thing ever!
2) A few weeks later - What! This sucks monkey-balls coated with lint and diarrhea poo! What was I thinking letting anyone see it.
3) About six months after finishing - Actually, it's quite okay. Now back to what I'm working on right now.

Good morning FaWtL'ers! :D Happy Thursday! Hope everyone has a good day today, that the bad parts pass swiftly, and the good parts stretch on and on. Weather is indecisive today, though edging towards cloudy currently. The rain may return soon. Sure, no harm, we're used to a bit of rain.

It was temporary though. And any errors they might made are on my name. I hope there won't be much of them - those are smart girls.

The Exchange

Morning guys and gals, yesterday applied suction to spherical air filled objects indeed... But today is Thursday, tomorrow is a holiday, and I have my state applicators test this morning.

Hope you all have a light, tight, and bright day on your ends.

And also...

SKYRIM FOREVER!!!!!

She keeps it in a cookie jar.

Mmmmm, cooooooookies.

Steam had it for stupid cheap the last couple days of the sale. Couldn't resist nabbing it. Haven't gotten around to playing though, Beat Hazard is a little too addictive. Kind of like Audiosurf was when I first got that.

Looking to be about the same here. Will be likely hot and humid regardless of whether or not there's any actual rain.

And I think that's enough Paizo for one morning. Later FAWTLfolk.

The current page of the OOTS thread is hilarious, and has nothing to do with OOTS.

Quite busy outside, hopefully there won't be any if that rain this weekend. There's a sense of anticipation in the air, sort of like the Olympics, and a very Gallic feel creeping in along with the extra traffic.

Thank the Nine for the Steam sale, eh? Or curse it, depending on your point of view. :P Never quite finished Skyrim, spent so long (131 hours on record) on all the exploration and side-quests that I eventually lost interest before beating it. Great game though.

I don't entirely see what the Nest-Quote-A-Mid has to do with OotS. :P

OOTS Theory:
Though your suggestion at the end may have merit, and makes me wonder if the change in art represents that complexity spilling into the OotS world with the newest destroyed gate.

Sabine's grandma wont make it
The doctors told Sabine on the phoneher liver is not working properly any more and they can't do anything
it can be days or weeks,
it is so very hard to wait for it to happen, on the other hand sooner means less suvering for her

on a happier note:
when I came home 7 or 8 white storks where circling over tne village in the summer wind,
for me it still is a small wonder to see a stork, even if I see several every week
they where nearly extinct in Germany, my whole childhood I had never seen a wild stork
for my boy they will be a common sight

Aeglos, im so sorry. That is awful. I hope you can be there for her in her final days, and Sabine as well.

I'm sorry those people have no common sense or basic decency.
