I just found an art store that has the ink cartridges I need for my old fountain pen. She was a messy old gal and likely still is, but Im trying to get more organized with my games and I have a pair of composition books that I'm going to use as genuine folios for my two games so I want to bring the fountain pen back into service. Its a sheaffer, which means awesome broad tips but leaky writing.
Speaking of broad tips but leaky writing. ... zips up
I was supposed to write yesterday, but I spent the entire evening procrastinating...
SPeaking of procrastinating, I've spent the last 6 nights either socialising or gaming - thus I've done my usual amount of prep for tonight's game. *face-palm*
Anyway, hope everyone is having a decent week.
I wonder if I've mislabeled two characters.
One is supposed to be a sociopath with a horrible childhood to blame for his lack of empathy, while another had turned psychopathic partially due to genes and by part due to multiple factors that just turned it much worse. From what I read, both are actually under the umbrella of Antisocial Personality Disorder, which is apparently more or less uncurable. That is problematic since I considered the two possibly ending up at least somewhat more stable via character development despite being that way for years, though it's less likely for the latter.
Good morning to all my FAWTLY Compadres out there in the wide world today! Happy Thursday? I guess. Still fighting this cold.
@Icy: I'd say the one who developed the condition due to their experiences could adapt back out of it, while the other - since it's a genetic defect - might have a far tougher time of it. They may struggle with it all their lives, but there's no way they couldn't adapt out of it, or learn to compensate somehow.
I personally don't like the idea that a character is completely irredeemable... some are just significantly harder than others, and/or directly opposing their own case.
On the other hand, coffee.

WHY HAS NO ONE BROUGHT DONUTS THIS MORNING!?!
Also, it was a little in the chilly side this morning. 46 degrees.
Pardon me while I shiver.
And, with all that nonsense out of the way, I shall bid you all a fond adieu. Peace and chicken grease! Have an awesome day!
No, strike that!
Have a FAWESOME day!

Cold, but not uncomfortably so (or on the cusp of uncomfortable for some). Like the wind bites into your flesh a bit, but not enough to make you put on the heavy winter coat.
I wonder if I should make the wyvaran a race that exists in Mystralas.
That would mean I have five different races of humanoid related to dragons.

Cool.:)
But then, I always did like the Draconians.

The City Council has mandated all vaccinations and vitamin or dietary injections must now be approved through the Night Vale Food, Health, and Postmortem Processing Department. Those wishing to be able to administer these resources must fill out the proper paperwork with the aid of an official Night Vale Notary Public. The Night Vale Notary Office is open... never.

Oh. Sorry about that, Drejk. You didn't need that hand, right? I mean, it looked like one if this little non-functional hands a t-Rex would have.
Crap. It's raining. It was not when I left for lunch, so I did not bring an umbrella. Now I have to walk back in the rain.
It's not rain, those are tears of one-handed dragon.

You are going to get far far too much mileage out of this alias, aren't you?

It's not so bad Drejk. We can fix it. I mean, I didn't prepare restoration today, but maybe we can reattach your hand with some twine and a few toothpicks.
At least there are no injections involved.
Also, I have a few rolls of duct tape at hand... Oh, damn, trying to unroll one with single hand definitely requires Dexterity check...
And it isn't a duct tape but some sort of non-sticky tape.
Writing because chance of getting work this week are extremely slim...
