You will be able to list Auntie Lisa's memoirs in your bibliography then.

It's actually a Works Cited according to my prof.

But please avoid listing naked dragons in you bibliography...

Bibliography. Third definition.

Night everyone.

"or consulted by the author in its production" is what she takes issue with. She only wants the sources cited in the paper, not every book consulted.

So footnotes when you're citing something, but no reading-list?

Nope. It doesn't add anything to the paper, and she's not going to go reference a bunch of sources I didn't cite.

Work's been really boring today for some reason, though the time I haven't used for taking calls has been used to think of things that could happen in a story I'm writing. The main thing I'm worried about is the length of this darn thing. If I do try to publish it some day, I might be looking at two or three books of 400 pages or so, if not more. Then again, I might be calculating all of that very badly and instead end up with just one book when all's said and done.

Scarab Sages

Good morning FAWTLY Folk! Crappy Wednesday! Still feel like crap, therefore it cannot possibly be a good day.

Especially since I just spilled some coffee on my shirt.

But that could be an excuse for another cup?

(like excuses are needed)

Curiously enough, I've begun to tone down my consumption of coffee and energy drinks.

I realized that an overdose of caffeine scrambles my thoughts worse than sleep deprivation.

I still envy you people who can have caffeine, even half a year after being off it.

I DON'T HAVE A PROBLEM! I CAN QUIT ANYTIME I WANT TO!

<Shudder,twitch>

(Mainlines coffee directly to bloodstream. As caffeine kicks in tries to calculate best placement of needle for directing caffeine directly to brain!)

Well, at one hand that prevents bibliography bloat but, on the other hand, reduces the reader's ability to follow references.

It seems to me that in small works, such as paper which won't be actually read by anyone beyond the professor and co-students it is sensible but in published works might be a bit limiting.

Whole stay in England seems to be composed of headache, backache and headache & backache...

At least I don't suffer any serious bowel problems usually associated with travels.

It's not that terribly bad - mainly annoying.

is the topic german-centric? or the participants? or is the concept of "Fernuniversität" distance university a german thing to Americans?

Depends on if it's an American cold. It might make a beach landing.

Zeppelins! Launch!

Damn Congestion. Not enough cough syrup on Earth to destroy it. On the brighter side, the cough system is an amazing tranquilizer. I feel..., calm.

Except for when they invited in a Dutch army under William of Orange (seems to be a good name for someone wanting to take the English crown by force), or that time the French invaded and spent the winter in London and was only driven back out because King John died.

*sigh* I almost forgot how irritating my father is while watching movies... His inability to track plot and make basic connection between its elements composed with stupid comments showing how much he does not understand cultural differences...

In the first case they had help of at least some of the locals. I don't remember details of the other one.

Well, flu is airborne...

Fourteen lines total written today. Its a step up but still not enough for a daily effort.

Should I start putting pieces of short story on a blog or maybe on devart or wait with showing off 'till I finish it?

Sixteen lines. Good night.
