I need to move all of the furniture in my living room because we're getting a new broadband line tomorrow.

I have no energy whatsoever left in me.

No, really - my thighs physically hurt when I stand up.

I wish I was young enough that flopping down on the bed and having a good cry would be an acceptable response.

I don't even have the energy to get dressed, damnit!

A bratwurst would be nice, ja.

GAAAHHHH!!! Stop doing that!!

Just the DVD-shelf left...

...this sucks - it's like moving, except you have to move everything in the flat into one room that's already half-full to begin with.

Yes, I'm grumpy tonight. Want to make something of it? [/douchebaggery]

Thank Lugh for Glengoyne single highland malt whisky fudge.

Day after garage sales = pain. The house looks like it's been hit by a hurricane. Now we have to go through every room and put everything into 3 bins: pack, give away/sell, or trash. It's amazing how much junk two people and two dogs can accumulate in 8 years.

Damn, I'm tired.

Good luck with that, though.

So much work for such a small prize, but I will have it!!!

Aaaaaaaah! It's Monday again!

The sock fairy giveth, but mostly he taketh away.

Just got back home from otakon. Had a blast, but the times and the fandom are changing. The genres are merging and creating a strange geek melange that feels right and wrong at the same time. Slinging h is rewarding as ever, and I will be loading pics to photobucket sometime soon. Gotta get some sleep work in the AM.

Hope you feel better & thanks for taking the trouble to update us. Hope there's lots of valuable stuff in the second category.

The Exchange

In other news only 25 days left in Myrtle Beach.

Huzzah!!! Just let me know the where and when to show up for the big unpackaging!!

Network is down here at work. No (internal) phone. No email. No Internet. That's a big problem when all project work is on a shared drive and you need things from the client that can only be gained by email or Internet.

But! All is not lost!

I still got coffee!

Ouch, AZ.

That sounds terrible. Hope it's sorted soon.

Scarab Sages

And a smart phone.

Blargh, still feeling a bit weird after coming back from festival and getting up at 6am after a late night. With the howling of zombies/metal-heads, until about 2am - when they probably killed everyone.

Meh. Not so much terrible as annoying and bad timing. We're trying to get some stuff done that the client wants by tomorrow.

Scarab Sages

All right folks. Time to go in search of more coffee. Later.

Condolences, Justin, on your loss.

Morning, all. What did I miss?

Silver Crusade

Visited with my dad, step-mom, and half-brother on Saturday evening and all day Sunday. We showed them around Long Island. I kicked butt at miniature golf. It was fun!

Silver Crusade

But AUUUURRGGGHHHH!!! I am so sunburny!

What not to say at a job interview. "Your financical compatibly quiz on your website does not support polygamy."

Agreed, I've been outside all weekend. Just about got enough sun-cream on to not burn too much. But amongst all the pasty English metal-heads there was more than a few ruddy faced people after a couple of days.

Rawr.

Was that a call for Taig?

Some pictures of football pitches you don't have to be interested in the sport to enjoy.

Eiðe, Faroe Islands

Nuuk, Greenland

Trogir, Croatia

The Outsorcing Stadium (yes, that's its real name) in Shizuoka, Japan

Como, Italy

Beni, Nepal

Marina Bay, Singapore - does the ballboys get scuba gear?

Braga, Portugal

Petrovskii Stadium, St Petersburg

Preparing for interview tommorow and have completed another application.
