I went to bed earlier than usual. Woke up later than usual. At least headache is gone. For now.

I prefer to be naked and without headache than clothed and in pain...

Good morning FAWTLY Folk! Happy Friday! And my last full day in Philthadelphia! I look forward to finally putting this place behind me. Not that it's been horrible, but I'm excited for the future.

I will miss my local friends terribly, but at least there are numerous ways to keep in touch these days.

Shiny, sorry to hear about your friend. Losing a friend, and someone so young, is always a terrible thing.

Hang in there, brother.

On the bright side, I will soon join the growing FAWTLY collective in Houston. I'm pretty sure we'll soon have enough people to form a swarm.

FAWTLY Swarm - CR 20
AC - of course, it's hot in Houston
HP - depends on how much we've been drinking
Attack - pummeling + distraction + madness (Will DC 50)

Yeah, we're badass

So the zombiecalypse will start in Houston...

Pfff. Not swarm. Clearly you'll use the newly-revealed Troop rules.

Silver Crusade

Morning, all. What did I miss?

I love how the absolute best moments of the campaign are entirely out of combat. At least to me.

hi everyone

Hi aeglos!

And the world rejoiced!

I'm sleepy. I went to bed around 10 last night (a bit early for me, but in a good way), and then ended up getting up around 10:40 to post a fix to a PbP roll that should've been 3 higher. Silly almost-asleep brain.

The combat bits were fun though. Need to throw more colossi at you guys in the future, when it's fitting.

I hate when I'm in the middle of a project, and I decide I'm too tired to effectively keep working on it, but my brain goes, "Ooh! Here's a neat idea, but you'll forget it if you go to sleep..."

I like finding fun things to throw at PCs.

I should use plants more.

And then you're all "no, it's such a cool idea that I will TOTALLY remember it, despite all past experiences to the contrary" and you leave it and then you completely forget what it was. :(

Headache strikes again... Meh.

I have resigned myself to getting out of bed and at least jotting the idea down somewhere. That usually works for me, and things settle down after that.

Damn, I've still not gotten used to Pluto not being a planet.

Well, there are still people living that remember times before solar system had nine planets.

Yeah, but the combat bits didn't involve

Spoiler:
the magus failing his Kn: Basic Social Economics check and leaving a blank check at the First Planar Bank of the Faerie Courts.

Man, that's going to be fun.

Man, that's going to be fun.

It happens a lot more often than you think, but usually with the less canny mortals. It's been eons since one so powerful was so careless with his offerings.

Some, on the other hand, are so stingy with what they hold that they would not dare even the smallest risk regardless of the reward it promised.

Kiss me goodnight and say my prayers
Leave the light on at the top of the stairs
Tell me the names of the stars up in the sky
A tree taps on the window pane
That feeling smothers me again
Daddy is it true that we all have to die

At the top of the stairs
Is darkness

I closed my eyes and when I looked
Your name was in the memorial book
and what had become of all the things we planned
I accepted the commiserations
Of all your friends and your relations
But there's some things I still don't understand

You were so tall
How could you fall?

Some photographs of a summer's day
A little boy's lifetime away
Is all I've left of everything we've done
Like a pale moon in a sunny sky
Death gazes down as I pass by
To remind me that I'm but my father's son

I offer up to you
This tribute
I offer up to you
This tank park salute

Even one so long as your own? It is looking to be a boring handful of future centuries for you, I imagine.

Indeed.

Staircase drama is not helpful for my headache.

I went to shop to buy some crucial supplies for remaining money. Long walk helped reduce ache a bit.

When I returned, just before the house, the neighbor #6, the one who wanted to pain staircase came to me and started to talk about painting (I already agreed for painting if much more cheaper option will be available).
During the talk a police car closed and stopped before our building. The neighbor asked me if the neighbor #3 convinced me in the first place to change my mind about painting earlier and if I would confirm to police that... I was like, Uh?! What?! What police has to do with convincing someone to change his mind?!

He started talking to police describing that neighbor #3 harassed and threatened him. Policeman explained to him that if there were no physical assault he should sue the neighbor #3 in civil court. They went and spoke with them as well while I walked around the house for a few minutes and then returned home.

I expect the staircase tensions to grow, just wonderful... *sigh* Of course my headache deepened while listening to complaints. Police officers weren't thrilled.

As a side note. Number of policewomen grows - I guess they are aiming at having female officers participating in domestic issues whenever possible.

Wow, Drejk. Just wow.

By the way, if anyone remembers my posts from a few months ago about police intervention in my building: it was neighbor #6 that was subject to the intervention after neighbor #3 called them that he heard children crying...

Ok, head is stabilizing... It should be better if I make no serious head movement.

I just wonder if this is the kind of headache that will get weaker or worse when I lie down. I don't know if I should go to bed or stay up for some more.

I have a cold or respiratory flu or something. I'm now at the Deep Sexy Voice stage, which isn't too terrible.

We had a bunch of showings earlier this week, then nothing yesterday or today. I'm so happy, because all I do is lie around and nap and blow my nose. However, the dogs are very UNhappy because we're not off to the park for hours each day. In hundred-degree heat, of course. Poor things. They do love it.

We returned from one showing, let the dogs out into the back yard, then found out that the people looking at the house had left the gate open. It was the gate on the far side from the driveway, so we didn't notice when we pulled in. Puffin had to chase after girl dog while I called boy dog in from the back yard. He's too much of a chicken to run away. We were mightily wroth.

It's Friday and I work the morning shift tomorrow. I'll be up before the crow bellows and zombies walk the earth. Have a good night and a good weekend everyone.
