I have fifteen minutes before I go on leave for two weeks. I'm hoping nothing explodes between now and when I'm due to leave.
(Of course, there are two meetings happening while I'm on leave that I have to call in for, but that's better than cancelling my vacation entirely, which I considered, given everything that's going on at work right now.)

Heh. The party itself is fairly normal, with only the Centaur Barbarian standing out oddly... well and the Dhampir Rogue I guess. The rest are two Humans (Oracle and Samurai) and a Half-Elf (Magus). The Drider, Kobold, and Worg are NPCs they managed to get on the good side of, and the Oracle basically bribed them off with "If you ally with us and let us legally rule your land, you can have the area of your territory sectioned off to you and be legally represented as citizens, and we'll reserve positions of authority for you." The Drider also got

Morning, all. What did I miss?
Well, Scott's attempt to teach his son how to play video games inadvertently caused an international incident when the boy accidentally hacked into the military computer systems of Luxembourg. Meanwhile, the sensitivity trainer at the office finally learned why Jason had earned the nickname Chainsaw Daddy. And, across town, Kirk's planned night of romance with the.....No, wait! That's my soap opera!
At least Luxembourg does not have military-grade nuclear warheads at it's disposal. At least connected to the net.

Tomorrows session canceled because friends crashed their car. At least they suffered no injuries themselves.
But this means that I won't have to leave today's party at another friend's house at reasonable time. Assuming I won't get bored and decide to leave early.
So talked to my boss today about the incident with the trainor. Today was not much better and she made the mistake of picking on me in front of her boss. It stopped today.
You were probably like 'Pfaw! You call that picking on someone? I hang with the pros. You're lower than the stuff stuck on the bottom of a pony's hoof.' Or, something like that.

Going to a sorority house family barbeque today.
Some guy comes asking me if I hadn't noticed something strange at night because someone stuck his car at night and the traces on the asphalt lead to my neighbourhood. I says that I didn't noticed anything... 10 minutes after he left I recalled that there were some folks talking loudly around 3 o'clock which I tried to ignore because they distracted me from computer. Duh. I hate memory failures.
You eat too much brains. The brain is responsible for forgetting, after all.
