Ranger - White witch of Irrisen Favored Enemy?

Pathfinder First Edition General Discussion

I was toying around with making an Ulfen Ranger opposed to the forces of Irrisen. I only have the core rulebook and ran into a little snag when looking around online - for Favored Enemy purposes, what creature type would a White Witch/Jadwiga fall under? The information I could find is somewhat vague, "Jadwiga appear to be human, but originate from a far realm beyond the known planes." Sounds like Outsider to me, but what type?

Silver Crusade

The Jadwiga are the mortal descendants of Baba Yaga. As such, they are just humanoid (human), nothing more. The White Witches of Irrisen are just sorcerers.

Actually, the White Witches should probably be witches. ;-P

I assumed he meant the Ice Mages:

Irrisen Icemage

You were born with the power to drive ice and snow as
others drive their slaves.
Prerequisites: Sorcerer, Irrisen affinity, may only be
taken at first level.
Benefit: All of your spells with the cold descriptor are
cast at +1 caster level. Any spell with a different energy
descriptor is cast at –1 caster level. Three times per day
you may alter a spell you cast to deal cold damage instead
of its normal damage; your +1 caster level for this feat
applies to this variant casting.

Grand Lodge

The Dravakor setting provides rules for rangers to take sub-groups of humans as favoured enemies. I'm sure the idea's not unique.

A GM might want to define a suitable scale of human groups to oppose according to the needs of a campaign or adventure path. If the party never gets more than one country away from the Land of the Linnorm Kings, favoured enemy (Irrisen) might work fine, though it wouldn't go so well, for example, in PFS.

Just following a train of thought, this might also support a campaign trait.
