Any chance of an updated map?

The map for this round is under the spoiler in the post with Tripe's last attack.

Male Dwarf Empyreal Sorceror (Seeker) 1

Round 5:

26+8/35 hp, Mage Armor, Shield, False Life

Throwing a worried glance in Petvar's direction, Morthos again attempts to finish-off Tripe...

MW Ancestral Greataxe, Arcane Strike: 1d20 + 7 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 7 + 2 = 10, for 1d12 + 7 ⇒ (5) + 7 = 12 Magical Slashing damage.

Thanks. Is it cool if I take a 5ft step closer to Tripe on my turn as well?

Solomon, you're in the middle of difficult terrain so you can't currently take a 5' step. Tripe looks hurt from the last blow, but it doesn't seem to be slowing him down much.

So the green square is difficult terrain then? I had been wondering, lol.

Darren waits to move until he can see if the rest of the party can make room, but unfortunately the zombie remains standing, so he tries to move the table to clear some space, but can't quite get it to move with all of the equipment sitting on it. Filios and Morthos both attack Tripe again with unspectacular results. Tripe tries once more to push the massive empty vat down onto Morthos. This time he succeeds, and though Morthos is able to keep from getting pinned by the frame, he takes full damage, 8 points, from the shrapnel that results from the drop.

Strength check 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (17) + 6 = 23
damage 2d6 ⇒ (6, 2) = 8
reflex save 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14

round 5 start:

start of round 6
The area inside the green outlines is difficult terrain.

Initiative order with pertinent status information, bold still to go this round
Tripe; bomber's eye, enlarged; 9 damage
Solomon
Petvar: 10 damage
Darren
Zombie 2(J8): 16 damage
Filios
Morthos

Round 6, 29/29hp, no effects.

Solomon takes another swing at the zombie, desperately trying to bring the acursed thing down.

Attack 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9
Damage 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7

"Torag, aid me in my strikes, will ya? I don imagine you gave me greater abilities to heal just for that to be the only thing Im good at.", Solomon calls towards the ceiling.

Sorry about the long wait, all. I was out of state for the holiday weekend.

Male Human Urban Ranger/1

Rnd 6, 14/24hp, no effects
Petvar attempts to finish off the Zombie.
Longsword: 1d20 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 4 + 2 = 24
LS Damage: 1d8 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 3 + 2 = 7
Shortsword: 1d20 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 4 + 2 = 15
SS Damage: 1d8 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 3 + 2 = 12

Male Elf Rogue Swashbuckler/4; HP: 27/27; AC:20; T: 16; FF: 15; F: 1/R: 8/W: 1; CMD: 20; Init: 6; Perc: 7; Sense Motive: 0

Darren to act, then Zombie (provided Petvar has not finished him off!)

Petvar finally drops the zombie.

M Human Ftr3

Darren growls in frustration when he couldn't move the table. He waits longer, hoping space will open close to Tripe. When Petvar drops the zombie, Darren steps into the breach.

Move to J8. Power attack w/longsword: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13; damage: 1d8 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13

Male Elf Rogue Swashbuckler/4; HP: 27/27; AC:20; T: 16; FF: 15; F: 1/R: 8/W: 1; CMD: 20; Init: 6; Perc: 7; Sense Motive: 0

Round 6, HP: 22/25, AC: 23

Filios attacks again from a flanking position with Morthos.

LS ATT: 1d20 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 5 + 2 = 21
LS DAM: 1d8 + 4 + 2d6 ⇒ (6) + 4 + (4, 4) = 18
SS ATT: 1d20 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 5 + 2 = 10
SS DAM: 1d6 + 2 + 2d6 ⇒ (4) + 2 + (2, 1) = 9

Darren's attack bounces off as Tripe takes a jab at him with his longspear, but the limited space of the room keeps him from using it effectively. Filios is almost able to get his longsword through Tripe's defenses, but it catches on a vial just before it can hurt Tripe.

attack 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9

Male Elf Rogue Swashbuckler/4; HP: 27/27; AC:20; T: 16; FF: 15; F: 1/R: 8/W: 1; CMD: 20; Init: 6; Perc: 7; Sense Motive: 0

UGHHHHH! This Tripe is pissing me off! Time to go with just the LS to increase ATT Bonus!

You stand a better chance, statistically, of hitting with one of the two lower attacks than when swinging once with a higher value (since its just a -2, anyway)

Male Dwarf Empyreal Sorceror (Seeker) 1

Round 6:

26/35 hp, Mage Armor, Shield

"That was close..." Morthos mutters, before taking yet another swing at the over-sized Tripe!

MW Ancestral Greataxe, Arcane Strike: 1d20 + 7 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 7 + 2 = 23, for 1d12 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15 Magical Slashing damage.

Tripe howls in pain as he tries once more to bring he watches the scene with manic eyes as he grabs a potion from his quick release sash and drinks it down. As he drinks it, a few of his wounds close.

CLW pot 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

round 7 start:
round 7 start
The area inside the green outlines is difficult terrain.

Initiative order with pertinent status information, bold still to go this round
Tripe; bomber's eye, enlarged; 20 damage; moderately wounded
Solomon
Petvar: 10 damage
Darren
Filios
Morthos: 8 damage

"Lay down on the floor now, like a good lad, so we can take yer head quick an easy." Solomon calls out to Tripe, magical compulsion flowing through his words.

Command use 2 of the day. Will save DC 14 to resist dropping to the floor.

Male Human Urban Ranger/1

It doesn't matter what happens with the Command Spell, Petvar is so mad he's seeing red.
Rnd 7, 14/24, no effects

Petvar walks up next to Tripe and swings hard with his longsword. Abomination!

Longsword: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (10) + 6 = 16
LS Damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9

Will save 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (12) + 8 = 20
AOO on Petvar with spear 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (15) + 7 = 22
damage 2d6 + 3 ⇒ (1, 4) + 3 = 8

This time, Tripe just laughs insanely as it is becoming clear that trying to mentally effect someone clearly as unhinged as he already is may not get very good results. As Petvar steps forward, he lashes out once again in pure madness, and somehow manages to stick the spear where he needs to to partially skewer Petvar for 8 damage.

M Human Ftr3

Speaking of AoOs, should we have gotten them against Tripe when he took his CLW potion?

Round 7, 21 HP, no effects

Darren takes another swing at the insane necromancer.

Power attack w/longsword: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (11) + 7 = 18

He has a sash that allows him quick access that comes from the Pathfinder's Companion book.

Male Elf Rogue Swashbuckler/4; HP: 27/27; AC:20; T: 16; FF: 15; F: 1/R: 8/W: 1; CMD: 20; Init: 6; Perc: 7; Sense Motive: 0

Round 7, HP: 22/25, AC: 23, and I agree with Darren - should we not have gotten an AoO when he quaffed the potion?

Filios uses both weapons to again attack Tripe!

Bastard!

LS ATT: 1d20 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 5 + 2 = 19
LS DAM: 1d8 + 4 + 2d6 ⇒ (5) + 4 + (5, 4) = 18
SS ATT: 1d20 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 5 + 2 = 16
SS DAM: 1d6 + 2 + 2d6 ⇒ (1) + 2 + (1, 3) = 7

If AoO is awarded...

LS ATT: 1d20 + 7 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 7 + 2 = 23
LS DAM: 1d8 + 4 + 2d6 ⇒ (2) + 4 + (1, 3) = 10

Finally! Of course it is with an AoO that may not even come to pass...

Trust me, I know what I'm doing. There is a sash from Seeker's of Secrets(the book that details the Pathfinder Society) that lets him avoid AoOs. I figured it was only natural that someone whose class skills depended on drawing things in battle would have one. However, because that AoO would technincally have come before the regular attack but never got used, I would say it counts as the ls attack on your turn.

M Human Ftr3

Ahh. That's fine. And I don't think Filios was trying to dogpile - he was probably typing while you posted your explanation. He only posted 2 minutes after your post.

Male Elf Rogue Swashbuckler/4; HP: 27/27; AC:20; T: 16; FF: 15; F: 1/R: 8/W: 1; CMD: 20; Init: 6; Perc: 7; Sense Motive: 0

Sunshadow: I trust implicitly that you know what you are doing. Thanks for the clarification!

Unless I am mistaken, I am just waiting on Morthos to finish off the round.

Male Dwarf Empyreal Sorceror (Seeker) 1

Apologies... for some reason, I thought that there was still a zombie...

Round 7:

26/35 hp, Mage Armor, Shield

Grunting in frustration, Morthos takes another swing at Tripe...

MW Ancestral Greataxe, Arcane Strike: 1d20 + 7 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 7 + 2 = 17, for 1d12 + 7 ⇒ (11) + 7 = 18 Magical Slashing damage.

There was until Petvar finished it off.

Filios finds an opening against Tripe as Petvar takes down the zombie. Tripe howls in rage and tries to bring his meaty enlarged fist down on Filios. While he just misses landing a knockout blow, he still gets a solid left jab in.

attack 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (19) + 7 = 26
damage 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4

At this point, it all of your attacks, than he goes again, so exact initiative order probably isn't required.

Tripe: 30 damage; seriously wounded

Round 8?, 29/29hp, Protection from Evil (+2 AC, +2 to all saves for the next 30 rounds)

Solomon mutters a short, quiet prayer and suddenly begins to glow brightly, as if under a protective aura. After readjusting the grip on his axe, the dwarf takes a few steps up to get within reach of Tripe, tryin to help his allies get into a good flanking position.

Plz put me somewhere either I can flank now, or could help someone flank soon, if possible. And yes, I know Im gonna take An AoO.

M Human Ftr3

Round 8, 21 HP, no effects

Darren takes a swing at Tripe, but not trying to hit him, as much as distract him from Filios's dual attacks.

Aid another to add 2 to Filios's attacks: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (19) + 8 = 27. (Now I roll over a 10. Figures.)

Male Human Urban Ranger/1

Maddened with rage over Tripe's use of the undead, Petvar swings both swords at Tripe.

Longsword: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14
LS Damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
Shortsword: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23
SS Damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9
SS Crit: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5

Petvar almost takes Tripe out in his rage, but can't quite finish him off, as Tripe's spear once more swings wildly at where Solomon was, but isn't anymore. EDIT: With Petvar and Darren in the way, the only way Solomon can get into a flanking position is to go around the tables to the side that Filios is on, and that will take a couple of rounds.

1 hp left

aoo on Solomon 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15

Male Elf Rogue Swashbuckler/4; HP: 27/27; AC:20; T: 16; FF: 15; F: 1/R: 8/W: 1; CMD: 20; Init: 6; Perc: 7; Sense Motive: 0

Round 8, HP:18/25, AC: 23

Filios tries to finish off the annoying Tripe!

LS ATT: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 24
LS DAM: 1d8 + 4 + 2d6 ⇒ (7) + 4 + (2, 4) = 17
SS ATT: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20
SS DAM: 1d6 + 4 + 2d6 ⇒ (4) + 4 + (6, 1) = 15

LS Confirm: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7
Crit DAM: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5

AHA! Got you!

"I guess I should have seen that coming. He never was exactly on the fully sane side of the equation. Still, it's a shame; he really was a half way decent person deep down. At least the equipment isn't likely to break." A female voice says from the corner as Tripe collapses onto one of the lab tables, crushing it with its weight and sending equipment flying everywhere.

AHAH! I knew somebody was missing from the party, lol.

Anyone going to reply?

Male Dwarf Empyreal Sorceror (Seeker) 1

Of course :-p

Morthos raises an eyebrow.

"Well, Tripe had ruffled quite a few feathers upstairs. It was only a matter of time before someone was sent to deal with him...

...and who might you be, Miss?"

Male Elf Rogue Swashbuckler/4; HP: 27/27; AC:20; T: 16; FF: 15; F: 1/R: 8/W: 1; CMD: 20; Init: 6; Perc: 7; Sense Motive: 0

Filios turns threateningly with both swords dripping with blood. He smirks at the female and awaits a reply to Morthos' inquiry.

Is Tripe still breathing?
Heal check 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15

Filios's attack clean took the life out of Tripe's body.

"Why don't you put away your weapons so we can have a nice calm, rational conversation like proper civilized people. It's not they would stop me from leaving anyway.

As to who I am, I met Svilennius when he was first starting down his path, and not knowing where it would lead, but knowing that he was able to offer me a possible solution to my difficulties when no one else could, I agreed to aid him. He was able to provide me with the help I needed, but because it took longer to have an effect than he had been expecting, he tore up all of his notes, making it impossible for him to replicate the process. That loss, combined with the rejection from his own church, unhinged him. Since then, I have spent most of my time in the bedroom beyond the pit hoping that a bit of a home like environment would aid his nerves, but he stopped spending much time there, so I've by myself most of the time lately, just trying to stay out of his way."

Solomon motions for the others to gather a little closer to him while the woman speaks. When all are within range, he will focus the divine power flowing through him, sending it out to heal his allies.

Channel Positive Energy 2d6 ⇒ (4, 6) = 10

When the woman has finished speaking, Solomon responds, "That's nice, but you haven' answered my friends question. What might your name be, las?"

"Why should I give you my name when I am unclear of your intentions? If you are intent on maintaining hostilities, I see no reason why I should indulge in civil conversation any more than I already have."

You don't see any visible effects from the channel energy.

DC 10 Sense Motive:
There is no hints in the tone of voice to suggest that she is being anything other than straight forward.

Sense Motive 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13
Do I have any idea/can I make a check to figure out why the Channel didnt work?

A concerned look crosses Solomon's face when he realizes his channeling did nothing, though he doesnt mention it out loud. "Who said anythin about maintaining hostilities? All we're wantin to know is who we're talking to."

Solomon puts his axe back on his belt and looks back towards the woman, "There now, is that more to yer likin?"

Without being able to see through the invisibility, you have no way of knowing exactly what effect, if any, it had.

"It's a good start, and I will accept it in hopes that your companions will see the wisdom of it and follow suit. My name is Esme."

OH, lol. I thought she was visible.
I really dont understand how she could be(if its her) interfering in any way with me using it to heal living creatures. Unless its a sort of anti-magic field. Hmmmm.

I'm sorry. I misunderstood the use of the channel energy. Everyone heals up from it.

Huzzah! I still will put my axe away, lol.

M Human Ftr3

Darren follows Solomon's lead and sheathes his sword. He returns to the door and retrieves his mace, sheathing it as well. He then scans the room, looking for other entrances through which reinforcements may arrive, as he listens to the party talk to the disembodied voice.
