I wonder how balanced feats for bonded objects should be.Familiars can be improved (and some of them are really nice), but there are no feat options for bonded objects. On the other hand, they can be upgraded as magical items, but they evolve just as magic items and not as bonded objects.
Taking this into account, there are possibilities:
1.- A second spell per day: maybe too powerful and dilutes the
comaparative advantage between wizards &
sorcerers2.- A free spontaneous use of a metamagic feat: nice, flexible
useful and possibly unbalanced (high level
requirement?)3.- A bonus to a skill and/or save: akin to those given by
familiars, but different. Maybe
these bonuses could have some
relation with arcane schools.4.- A discount to enhance the object: it should be something
that justify the election of this
feat instead of the item creation
feat (maybe an addtional discount
if both are taken).What do you think? Any ideas?
Maybe include these feats as a feat only taken by the bonus wizard feats (5,10,15...), or which require a specific number of wizard levels.
