Rast Hilden |

Sheathing his blade after catching the bracers, Rast says, "I was bloodied a little during that scuffle, but nothing that Cayden's healing magics can't fix up. How about yourself?" Then seeing the others standing over the body of a few of the thugs, he follows Gorag and says, "Well, looks like there is another group of like minded souls who were willing ta face the robbers." Sticking his hand out in greeting, he continues with, "The name's Rast Hilden, novice cleric of the Publican House."

DM Ankoku DaiShogun |

"Darius Pope." Darius grasps Gorag by the forearm. "I would introduce you to my. . .uh, "friends", but I am afraid I do not know there names." He motions to the woman and the dwarf.
Do we need 2000 exp. to level?
Yes, the AP uses medium exp, i'll see that it doesn't take too long, and usually give bonus xp for every clever action or good dialogue

Sanya "San" Icefloe |

Sanya eyes Gorag's injury, then laughs heartily
Nothing a tough orc blooded guy can't sustain, mhh?
She gives Gorag a thump on his shoulder, then takes a look at the three "newcomers".
Good you were here, without you Gorag's scratch would've become a serious injury! I'm Sanya and we three are the Company of the well tempered Tankard.
She blinks to Rast and smiles.

Gysseannia |

Gorag takes all what the Thugs had and distributes it between his comrades
As Gorag moves to the other side of the dais to strip the rest of the thugs, he hears the clearing of a throat to his right. 'Ahem. Hands off other people's property, thief.'
Standing there is what looks like an half-elf in sturdy boots, leather breeches, a tunic in a leather vest and a cloak. She has a loaded hand crossbow aimed at Gorag's head in her right hand and a dagger held cocked in her left hand. Her slight build and luxurious hair so black as to have blue highlights perfectly complements her indigo eyes as does her porcelain skin. Even the deadly serious expression on her face does not seem to detract from her looks.
Gysseannia readies to launch the crossbow bolt into the thieveing half-orc's eye should he or his comrades make even the slightest threatening move.

Gorag |

You misunderstand Gorag, I wanted to distribute it betwen all of us, not between us 3. But when you want only the things of these few thugs, we 3 will take all of what these two had.

Gysseannia |

You misunderstand Gorag, I wanted to distribute it betwen all of us, not between us 3. But when you want only the things of these few thugs, we 3 will take all of what these two had.
'You misunderstand me, half-orc Gorag. I don't want what's not mine. Those kills belong to the dwarf here.'
You never said you were sharing anything with everyone. You only wrote that you took everything and gave it to your comrades. After your stated action, you introduced yourself to the strangers, we other three characters. This is all from the character's perspective. I, the player, know that you, the player, would never do that. Besides, I don't see Darius, Bombur or Gysseannia getting the bracers or wand, so I didn't care that you looted your kills and kept what you found. It's just role play, brother. =D

Rast Hilden |

Smiling in return to Sanya's name for the small group, Rast seems to ponder something for a moment before reacting to Gysseania's movement. Putting himself between Gorag and the "half-elf", Rast calmly says, "I'm sure Gorag meant no disrespect and I ask that you don't either. Even the Drunken Hero understands that violence begets violence, I hope that you do as well. Why don't we put this aside and come and meet over a nice mug of ale and we can decide together what is to be done."
The man standing between the two groups is decked in tarnished chainmail with a rapier sheathed at his hip. At his waist hangs a finely crafted silver mug and his bearing is that of a man who has seen a few barroom brawls. His stubbled, tanned face is calm and his wise, brown eyes hold a gaze that hints at a vast amount of determination.

Gorag |

Spellcraft Bracers1d20 + 6 ⇒ (17) + 6 = 23
Spellcraft Wand1d20 + 6 ⇒ (20) + 6 = 26
Gorag never wanted to rob you. Gorag only thought it might be better to take things before all these people return and distribute them later.
Sanya, can Gorag look at these bracers? Gorag has an eye for such things.
Gorag only takes the posessions of the bard and the wizard which he both killed to calm the strangers down.
Rast, Sanya, Gorag thinks we look later, who of us can use these better.
Gorag browses shortly the spellbook to see what spells it contains.

Things settle, as Saul and his remaining staff bound the wizard and his thugs with ropes and wait for the Riddleport Gendarms to arrive, after which the bandits are taken away.
In the meantime all of you were examining the loot, and waiting for the outcome of the event;after all you should deserve a reward.
Gorag is still reading the wizard's book, Sanya and Rast are at the bar chatting to relax a bit after the clash and Gysseannia is still considering the best angle to backstab Darius from when Saul approaches the paladin, but calling for all of you.
"Come my newly acquired friends, or so i hope.I still have to properly thank you for saving the chest;my lost this night have been terrible, but could have been much worse without you.Let's drink something togheter and talk of some business, shall we?"
The spell on the chest by now has faded away, but the last men of the gambling hall already secured it.

Sanya "San" Icefloe |

Sanya arches an eyebrow as Vancaskerkin says the word "friend".
She empties her tankard, thinks this just ain't the quality I'm used to...could easily be fed to babies...
and gives Rast and Gorag a questioning look
Captn. Hook ....ummm...Key I mean, wants to talk....what about us?

Sanya "San" Icefloe |

Sanya nods to Gorag and links arms with him
So be it, let's see what this bizarre crime lord has to offer. I bet he is the real nemesis of all clockwork golems, heh.
Thinking to herself Sanya already divagates
The south is really weird...so fast and lively, I gained more impressions today than in a whole year in Irrisen...on the other hand: Sanya you have to stay focused...don't dare to even think about this Rast...or his strong arms...and broad shoulders...or....

Rast Hilden |

Enjoying the conversation as they threw back another mug of what Saul passed for ale, he smiles to the fair northerner as he slides off his stool, saying to Saul, "Nothin' that any honest folk wouldn't want ta do. The gold is safe, the robbers are foiled and the ale is aflowin'. All in all a good night from my reckonin'. If ya have somethin' more to add, then by all means." Letting Sanya walk with his half-orc friend, he'll follow after the boisterous northerner, discreetly enjoying the view as he makes his way to where they are all to gather. I'll have ta see about getting some time ta talk with this lass about the wonders of the Accidental God. If she happens to have an interest in religion, then Cayden help my adventurous soul.

Sanya "San" Icefloe |

Sanya looks the dwarf over and thinks I wonder why goblins and dwarves have such a deep rooted hatred...smell the same, sing the same...and sometimes even look alike...
Sanya gives Saul a convincing glance, then smiles
So master Vancaskerkin, mighty crime lord and successful operator of Riddleport's fanciest gambling hall...oh, yeah the last part...we should add a "to be in the future"...with our help that could easily be possible.
Diplomacy1d20 + 7 ⇒ (13) + 7 = 20

Gysseannia |

Since the dwarf apparently went over and took a crossbow from one of the dead on the other side of the dais, Gysseannia stands down. She replaces her dagger and unloads her crossbow.
Upon the appearance of the establishment's owner, Gysseannia listens to his thanks and decides to follow him to hear what he has to say. This could be an opportunity for some work.

DM Ankoku DaiShogun |

So master Vancaskerkin, mighty crime lord and successful operator of Riddleport's fanciest gambling hall...oh, yeah the last part...we should add a "to be in the future"...with our help that could easily be possible.
"A clever girl, i already like you;and i'm talking of your lill' brain, don't misunderstand me"
Saul leads you beyond the gaming hall, through a couple of doors and up for a staircase which ends in a corridor and finally in a waiting area with two large but worn suede couches, a fireplace and a table.
“But there will be time for boring talks, now just have some relax with my thanks
He leans outside of the room's door and calls out loudly “Larur, come here, bring that stuff”
After few minutes a bald, brown-bearded dwarf enters the room carring a handful of bottles of various size and some money bags.
All of you gets 1xCure Light Wounds potion, a gp to repay entry fee and value of won house chips at 150%
Saul opens a bottle of good wine and drops the dinks in some chalices, then offers one to Sanya, Gysseannia,Darius,Rast,Gorag and Bombur.

Rast Hilden |

Realizing that he was indeed injured from the fight, Rast whispers a short prayer to Cayden as divine energy fills the area aroud him, healing his wounds and those of his fellow robber busters.
Reaching the sitting room, Rast takes an offered ale and smiles as he takes a drink. Then smiling even wider as he realizes that this ale is a bit better than what he was served during the event, he turns his attention to the business at hand. This was why he had come to the event after all, to see if he could find work. "I have to agree with many of my associates here, if it tough to find steady work here in Riddleport and wouldn't mind getting down to business and see if we can work out some sort of deal that could benefit both groups. After all, some of us are in search of work and you seem to have lost a good amount of staff after the robbery was foiled."

Sanya "San" Icefloe |

Sanya smites her forehead, then theatrically bites her tongue
Rast, sorry if I have to correct you, but we should clarify that we don't want to be involved in any kind of criminal activity of Mr. Vancaskerkin. We are good-hearted, honest and fair she shoots Gorag an encouraging glance folk.
Then she looks over to Bombur and Gyseannia
And, umm... I would assume those people have the same moral values as we have.

Rast Hilden |

Taking another sip of his ale, Rast replies, "But of course. Sanya's words have merit. As a cleric of the Drunken Hero, I can't be involved with anything that might besmirch the Publican House's good name. But why don't we hear what Vankaskerkin here has to say before we go thinking that he is gonna involve us in some illicit scheme."

DM Ankoku DaiShogun |

Saul waits for you have estabilished yourself and listens to your first assertions.
"But you surely know life changes you...and mine had the hard way. When i lost my fortune, my wife and my hand i had to learn that my old lifestyle was much too dangerous;look at me , i mean, do i look like some great hero? No.
He seems to be sobbing then he continues.
"This is why i need help, i struggled for years to find a way to redeem myself,as a crimelord i sucked.Hope i can do something better as a honest business man, as much as it is possible in Riddleport, that is."
"You see, this city eats you, unless you know how to eat first, or you know someone that does;but all of those i knew just waited for my return to come and take old debts i already paid he stops a sec and swirls openly and in middle air his left arm with the key in place of the hand but the hell if they care."
"I'll need some one that helps me running this house and keeps me from falling back in that world;my old enemies are waiting just that so they can finish what they started, like that mo*******er of Clegg Zincher"
"And i hope my little friend down there didn't scare you for real.He was in that cage just to make a bit of show."

DM Ankoku DaiShogun |

"Your skills down there really impressed me;i think i recognized those guys.Usually hired by the other crimelords for strong arm jobs, robbing and beating enemies and so on....but you made quick work of them."
Saul takes another glass and brings it to his mouth.Takes a sip then keeps talking.
"So in the end, i need some one that will act like replacements dealers, bouncers, croupiers, entertainers and the likes, but in reality will be my personal bodyguards and consultants,so i'll be able to run this job honestly without having to resort to my old friends."
"Of course you'll be paid well.I was thinking at 10 gold coins a week, plus your cut of the hall weekly profits."

Rast Hilden |

"Well, like I said, as long as I am not asked to do anything disgraceful, I am game. And I even have a few ideas for getting some quality brews into this establishment." Finishing off his mug of ale, he will put it on the table and extend his hand to seal the deal.
Yeah, I have a little bit of trouble with my computer and couldn't connect to the internet. But that is all fixed now.
