Honor is the subject of my story.
-Julius Caesar
Darius was raised on knightly stories of honor and valor by the clerics of Iomedae, who took him in as a baby after his parents were killed during a raid on their village.
From an early age, the boy dreamed about one day defending those that could not defend themselves, charging the field of battle, and driving evil before him at the point of a mighty sword.
As he grew older and stronger, Darius, split his time between his studies and practice with the sword until his mind was as sharp as his blade. His prowess with the blade was only matched with his piety and the charity that he showed any person that crossed his path.
At the age of eighteen, the boy became a man and took the vows that made him a holy warrior in service of his god. A year later, with the urging of his fathers, Darius took to the road in search of adventure, hope, and the true path.
At just over six foot, with a muscular frame and auburn hair, Darius is known for his good natured smile, hardy laugh, and booming voice. Truthful, sometimes to a fault, Darius does what he says and values his word above all.
Those that are around him, even for a short time, can see the man for what he is. . .a shining example of what is good and true in an ever darkening world.
