Without a level adjustment added, does it seem like Duergar and Svirfneblin are a little too op to start with? Unless the player is dedicated enough to role play a racial persona that might inhibit gameplay choices, things like SR 11+CL and 2nd level spell-likes just seem unrealistic compared with the general races.
I would like to incorporate these choices since paizo took the time to add the relevant sections in the bestiary, I just don't think I could convince a DM to do so.
Anyone have experience using either one in a long term campaign?
I would probably allow the deurgar as a player race (especially if they gave up a feat), The svirfneblin is way to powerful, even without SR (which is as much a hindrance as it is a help)
