Hi Salarain, I live in the Columbia area and if you're planning on running the sanctioned scenarios that allow for PFS character advancement, I'd be up for making a drive out to participate on occasion. Are you looking to deal with the sanctioned scenarios or was this more for a homebrew styled game setting? Always a pleasure to meet another South Carolinian who rps. Take care and, if it's not something I'd end up participating in, I wish you luck with pulling a party together. Cheers!

There's a chance I'll be moving to Florence, SC in August -- it's one of a handful of places where I'm going to interview for a position this summer.

It'll be a couple months after that before I'm able to schedule gaming in my week but as soon as possible I'll be looking to start (or join if at all possible) a group.

I guess being in Florence puts me half way between Myrtle Beach and Columbia. I've driven through SC dozens of times but always on cross country trips so I really don't know how far anything is.

SCARAB is based in Columbia but we go out to stores and cons all over the SouthEast. Check out our calendar (www.s-c-a-r-a-b.com/calendar.php) and see when we might be out towards Myrtle Beach.

We also post all of our PFS games on the Paizo Calendar too!

I hope that I can meet all of you at our convention or at one of our events.

If we are out towards Myrtle Beach, I will let you all know.

SCARAB Gaming Days are returning in the fall after we recover from our Gen Con comas!

Join us for some free gaming at FIREFLY on the 14th of September as we blow out the candles on the FIREFLY anniversary cake!!!

Then ....

Join us for more free gaming at FIREFLY on the 12th of October as we blow out more candles to celebrate the anniversary of the Venture Captain of SC- Del Collins!!!

I'm also located in the Myrtle Beach/Conway area and am looking for a good PFS game to join into. I've been playing for a few years and I've been looking for a party since my GM moved to Louisiana a while back.

So.. wait, is this thread dead? If not, is there a PFS certified GM/group anywhere in this area?

I'd be willing to try. I've GM'd Pathfinder before, but I've never actually had anything to do with Pathfinder Society. I'll read through the Guide though and see what the difference is.

EDIT: I'm reading through the stuff now. I see that GMs have to run scenarios.. hm.. I'd totally be willing to GM. It'll be a learning experience!

So, now that we've got everything set up..

I've done two consecutive weeks of PFS at White Widow Games and I think we're ready for more players. We've only got four that are showing up and I've asked around the store.. what should I do to advertise?

We play on Thursdays at 5, but everyone is typically there by 4:30.

If anyone is interested in playing, you can message me, swing by the shop and tell the owner (his name is Anthony), or simply show up.
