Artwork about rise of the rune lords in other products

Silver Crusade

I have noticed two pieces of art work and wondered if they are referring to events in rise in the Rune Lords.

First

Spoiler:
on Page 42 of “Pathfinder Campaign setting Lords of Chaos” Book of the Damed Vol 2, Is that Nualia sitting on a throne with goblins around her?

Secondly

Spoiler:
The cover of the Inner sea Primer, Are those the goblins of thistle top pouring over the rope bridge to overwhelm the adeventuring party?

I noticed that the head was laying in its side. From the artwork and the maps in Rise of the rune lords, I thought that the fortress was built on top of the fallen monolithic statues head. Is the head on its side as nod to the “rise of the runelords” play?

Thanks

Correct on both counts, apparently. Think of it as a "nod" to veteran readers :)

Thank you Gorbacz.

Any thoughts about the head on its side? I thought thistle top was on top of the head and the head of the Colossus was resting vertically in the waves.

Sorry I'm nit picking

It might be a classic case of "artistic license". It looks cool anyway.

Gorbacz you are probably right. I seem to remember from reading Way finder, #2, they had pictures from a middle school who put on a play “burnt offerings”, and as part of the set design there was a strikingly similar head lying on its side. Maybe I am just seeing similarities where there are none.
