Can anyone with this issue please skim through the Erebus artical for me and let me know if there's anything -- even if it's merely implied -- that suggests Erebus is the Patron of the Shadar Kai race?

It says that the shadar-kai attempted "to utilize Erebus' power, but were ensnared by the specifics of their bargain." They are now afflicted by the "shadow curse" and "are invariably drawn into the the Plane of Shadow where Erebus has taken the entire race as his favored slaves." It adds that "the entire race hates the ancient god of shadows for tricking them."
