No idea GM, but this is totally how I'd read OotS commentary on 2016 US politics...

So help me, Thor, I will turn this battle around.

Just glad there's no Urkel in Clan Thundershield.

Divine Diversion

This was Loki's idea. You can just tell.

"The key is to be subtle, so that even if they notice, they'll hesitate for a few precious moments before acting."

Hel suggested, Thor enacted.

Yes, Thor's mind doesn't work that way. But Loki is a trickster.

When both Thor and Loki are set against you, the end is nigh.

I dunno, Andostre, but historically, this is an accurate statement.

Also yes when the God of Mischief, Trickery and Fire joins up with the God of Thunder and Lightning, it tends to get dicey for the opposition.

*shows off War of the Realms Volume #6 *

This is why.

But really does't it always start out as Loki's fault?

2 people marked this as a favorite.

Vid,

Generally, yes.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

The entire avengers endgame if you really go back seriously did start out as Loki's fault. also you know Ragnarok and what have you.

3 people marked this as a favorite.

Hey all I'm saying is, no matter the version, 90% of time, it being Loki's fault is accurate.

And now we have proof that Loki and clerics aren't a good combo...

And here's a link to that proof!

What did we expect ?

So pure

I wasn't expecting anything honestly other than maybe Loki would pull the wool over Hela's eyes some how.

Ray of Hope

It's good to have a backup plan. I mean, I guess? Usually.

Also, there's a new blog post that has information about the final book in the main story line, for those interested.

Ofcourse we all know the thing about that hammer right?

Are you referring to lore about the hammer or a specific reveal from the comic about the hammer?

Grand Lodge

Yeah, not sure what the play is here.

At first I thought he was making a way for the rest of the OotS to enter the chamber, but I don't really know what that would do. Maybe V breaks their enchantment, but couldn't Durkon do that? I'm also not sure.

Plausible also is that the rest of the dome will begin to crumble.

I just figure Thor will show up and be like "Look it's real simple. I DON'T want you to unnecessarily sacrifice yourselves. But I am cool with the idea that you would. So...just table this until we let this weird adventurers fix this."

1 person marked this as a favorite.

I won't spoil but It's a good hammer.

Liberty's Edge

2 people marked this as a favorite.

Obviously there is a purpose. One important enough to endure petrification.

I too thought about V coming in through the orange but staying outside the blue while dispelling the dominations.

Spoiler:
Because it returns ?

Vid,

I don't think this is the same hammer that a certain other Marvel Comics character reforged using a god storm, the Sun and a War of the Realms...

Turn the Table

It turns out that the hammer was useful!

I too thought that Durkon had knowledge of the book of procedures and found in it something to exploit :-)

Not sure taunting the vampire is good for continued survival though. And Durkon is still petrified.

Unless the vampire gets so mad that he forgets about the prohibition against attacking any creature during a council meeting ;-P

All part of the plan.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

I am glad that SOMEONE read the rules. It's pretty clear vampires don't read the rules. At least not your average ones...

He is the only Vampire who seems to be thinking.

1174: Fun for the Whole Family.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

What would happen to the dominated councilors if Durkon's family staked the vampire dominating them?

Silver Crusade

2 people marked this as a favorite.

I'd assume they'd be set free. It does look like the tide has turned here, and the good guys have won... for now. That means there's a plot twist coming, or else moving on to the next stage of the adventure.

2 people marked this as a favorite.

I think moving on the next stage. Right after they fix Durkon.

Also glad they did the whole "Let's hold on to him while dragging him into the sunlight" thing.

Liberty's Edge

Doing nothing.

1175 Running on Fumes

1 person marked this as a favorite.

I'm kind with Loki on this one. Just pull up stakes and call it a loss Hela.

2 people marked this as a favorite.

Hela just keeps on losing tho. When you get pixel-botched over every soul, she might as well hang on out of pure spite.

"He abandoned his comrades in battle!"

"Tactical retreat! Brave thinking."

Grand Lodge

2 people marked this as a favorite.

Plus there was the point about undead being unable to follow connections, basically being rigid thinkers. Why wouldn't Hela have the same weakness?

1 person marked this as a favorite.

All I know is this Hela has nothing on this one.
