Ok, the greater version at level 10 gives pounce, which most people say is pretty awesome.
level 6 version gives armor bonus, which is ok I guess, but perhaps not really that great.
But the lesser version, is that just a waste?
Two claws at 1d6+str each, but I could just use a Greatsword for pretty much the same damage (only 1.5x str instead of 2x I guess, so slightly lower - but it can be MW or enchanted).
Once I get to level 6 and get the second attack though, even a basci greatsword is way ahead of the claws, and stays there. Even the increase to 1d8 at the greater version doesn't change that (not to mention at level 11 I get a third attack which the claws again don't get)
Or can I actually attack with my claws in the same round that I smash my greatsword in someone's face? I doubt it.
Animal Fury and Fiend Totem both say you can use them as secondary attacks, but they of course don't use your hands.
So is pounce really worth spending two additional rage powers on the useless lesser totem, as well as the medium one?
