iPad 4.2 update and Fonts (fixed?)

It seems to me that I'm not having a problem with missing "A" characters any more is anyone else noticing this?

I'm using good reader as well, but as I understood, until apple fixed the issue with font id, this issue would continue no matter what program you would use.

reader seems to be fixed as well. Though it funny first it shows the page the old way, but fuzzy, then it re-renders the page correctly. Awesome!

It appears to be fixed. It was a nuisance I was willing to live with, but now that it's gone, I'm very happy.

Nobody is happier about this than I am. Seriously!

Now if they can just get the fix into the desktop OS... I check after every update, and it's still not fixed in Preview.

Last I checked Adobe worked fine on the Mac, at least you have a choice with the Mac, unlike the iPad, did not work no matter what reader software!

You're correct—Adobe Reader has never had the problem. Just Apple's Preview, ever since 10.6 was released.

Except when printing...it still drops the "A's".

I knew it would eventually... Just not this soon.

I did notice yesterday as well, but thought that the Inner Sea Primer was altered by Pazio didn't think Apple got around to fixing it.
