Allow me to introduce myself. I am 26 years old and recently started playing Pathfinder. I notice the lack of organized groups in the South Florida area so decided to do something about it. This is an open call for all pathfinders interested in meeting up and possibly running a campaign.
This could be once a month or so and a day of your convenience. For this meetup I would consider meeting somewhere that is a comfortable drive for everyone involved. It can be somewhere like a University Campus or local store.
There are two local stores that I know of. The first being Sunshine Roleplayers off of Bird Road. Usually you have to pay a small fee to use the space in the neighborhood of 3-5 dollars.
There is also Outland station but I'm not sure on the pre requisites for that store but I can find out.
12540 SW 120th Street
Miami, Fl 33186

Further north of these two is Cool Stuff Games. They are on 5655 S. University Drive Davie, FL 33328 I don't think you have to pay anything to play here.

If you are interested post which place would be more convenient for you. Also Florida International Univeristy is another possible meeting point. Currently I know there to be 3 Pathfinders (2 others I found and myself) that are interested in starting a Pathfinder Society run. This doesn't have to be for Pathfinder Society though and can be a seperate event.
Thanks and let me know.

You don't have to pay anything to run at Cool Stuff. I've been running 4E LFR on Saturdays for months but with all the recent changes to LFR I have been looking to try and mix it up with PFS. My problem is I don't feel confident enough with the rules to run mods yet. I don't know how far south you folks are but we've got players coming in from South Miami and Coral Springs.
If you've already got a spot let me know and I can probably send some additional players your way.

I lived in Miami from 2000 to 2008, and I can personally attest that there is actually quite a large RPG gaming community in south Florida, specifically Miami and Fort Lauderdale (Considering I used to help run and organize it). There used to be a gaming association called the Miami Circle, a 150+ member strong group that ran Living City and Living Greyhawk games for years, until the collapse of those systems with the release of fourth edition. The community has since fractured, creating perhaps 3-4 smaller cells of gamers. The largest contingent began playing pathfinder, and meet at least twice a month in an official capacity and run countless other smaller games at people's homes.
Probably the largest organizer of pathfinder events in the area is a gentleman named Rafael Taramona. Ask for him at Sunshine Roleplayers, the owner (Joel) should be able to get you in contact with him easily enough. They used to run games at both Sunshine Roleplayers and Outland Station, but I believe they currently run their events on the Florida International University's engineering campus. I'm fairly certain the above mentioned links by Doug miles refer to the group Ralph helps organize. I'll also call some of my friends who run games at Florida International University, and ask them to post the information here for you.
Have fun and good luck! There's plenty of Pathfinder addicts in Miami, just ask around!

I run a Pathfinder Society Game Day on the second Saturday of each Month at the Adventure Game Store in Davie. We have been trying to increase the group. We are also starting to get with the Miami group. I would also be willing to run or play at Cool Stuff. You can contact me @ 954-297-4548 (my real name is Tom). I tried twice to get a group going at Outland Station, but met no success. Maybe it would be possible now (or at Sunshine Roleplayers). I don't mind paying the fee for space at the second place. I would even be willing to set up an event at each place each month. You can call me anytime between 8AM and 11PM.

Hey we just finished Florida New Years CON. We ran almost as much Pathfinder as anything else. Legends of the Shining Jewel, a Pathfinder RPG living Campaign had three WISJ premieres there.
I also do the RPG floor at Megacon in Orlando, and I figure we will have plenty of Pathfinder there. I can always use judges, just contact me off the forums.
The Pathfinders of Florida Facebook is open to anyone who wants to publish "open to the public" gamedays. I define that as in a public space, open to all, and having available play in standard campaigns.
Let me know if I can help you out.
Cool Stuff is a great place to game by the way, the owners of Cool Stuff are indeed solidly behind open gaming in Florida.

Hey all sorry I have not replied to the thread. Anyway currently we are running a campaign at Sunshine but the group is a bit hesitant to allow just anyone that we don't know in so it's not my call.
I am interested in another campaign though and I'll give some people a call tommorow. See if we can get something running at Cool Stuff or see what's going on. Thanks again for the links.

My fiance and I live in West Palm Beach and are looking for local organized play and also larger events on the weekends- 2+ scenarios, in Tampa, Orlando, or Miami. We are willing to drive and spend a weekend if the play is good. :-)
We both have years of RPG experience but just started Pathfinder organized play last year at DragonCon.

It's too bad that this is for southern Florida, i'm located currently in Bradenton in Manatee county, and while I've somewhat begun to run my own pathfinder campaigns I have truly been wishing to play as well in the Society but alas, there is nothing around here.
I know your feeling. I live in South Tampa and there's hardly anywhere here to play. I've suggested on Tampa Bay Gaming Group's Discussion Forum that I'd be happy to loan my apartment for five or six people (not a big apartment and an even smaller table) but yeah.
Anyways, rant rant rant. Later all.

TheBarbarianGV0209, head to meetup.com and search for RPG groups. There are a few in the area.
There's a Broward group that has a few things going on in the south county area (Davie, Ft. Lauderdale). I'm not sure if they do any Pathfinder, because it's kinda far for me to head down there, so I don't pay that much attention to that group. There's also a Lake Worth/Palm Beach group that has stuff going on in West Palm Beach and further west/north of there, which is the group I usually hang out with.
The surprise to me is that there doesn't seem to be much going on in between. I live in Boynton Beach, so I don't mind driving 20-30 minutes to hang with the people in northern Palm Beach County, especially now that I've met many of them and made some friends. But heading down to the Broward stuff would be a 40+ minute drive to most of the places they meet. I just find it odd that there's nothing happening in northern Broward or southern Palm Beach counties.

@TheBarbarianGV0209, Docking Bay 94 is in Coconut Creek and might be a good place to post a "looking for a group" type note as well. http://www.comicsandgames.com/
Fromper is right though- try meetup.com as I am sure there are Fort Lauderdale groups on there.
