Lost Omens Campaign Setting General Discussion

Sovereign Court

Hi guys!

We recently switched from 4th ed. to Pathfinder, and we are having a blast with a capital B!

I used to GM in the Forgotten Realms setting. Now, I'm a bit lost, since I don't know the world I'm playing in and there doesn't seem to have a sourcebook like the FR setting book or box, depending on the edition you played.

Am I wrong? Is there such thing as a world setting that exists in one book? I've seen a couples of references to Golarion and a couple of books describing some of its region, but is there one big sourcebook?

Thanks!

Welcome aboard!

The current setting book is Pathfinder Chronicles: Campaign Setting, but that's going to be replaced in February by Pathfinder Campaign Setting: World Guide -- The Inner Sea

Edit: And there's also the Pathfinder Wiki that has lots of setting information.

You could get the Pathfinder Chronicles: Gazetteer (OGL) PDF as an interm item if you want something book like.

Sovereign Court

Thanks guys!

Just ordered the Gazetteer.

Is Inner Sea the new edition of the official game setting or just a different packaging?

I mean, should I buy the pdf edition of the former (print no longer available) or wait for the Inner Sea?

Fred

Concordia, the upcoming book is updated to the Pathfinder rules (the Campaign Guide was for 3.5), and has more pages to more fully describe some areas.

Thanks Julian!

I'll be waiting for the February book then!
