So my 2nd level dwarf barbarian recently ran into the critically sharp business end of a scimitar weilded by the leader of a village of cannibals and snuffed it hard.
Since the lone raise dead scroll we have would probably end up bringing me back as a ghost or costing me a level and 2 con, I'm thinking it's probably for the best that they bury him and move on... which of course means I need to play a new character.
So in the following party breakdown what would recommend to keep the party up and running? (Especially noting all of the castaways other than Sasha of the red mantis, were captured and dragged back to the village for dinner.)
Current surviors include:
2nd level elven ranger/cleric
2nd level elven TWF rogue with the intent of multiclassing into wizard.
2nd level human fighter (sword and shield.)
2nd level witch who in theory is healing focused, but is afraid to get close to melee due to low HP and AC. (The PC has also intentionally avoided taking offensive spells for RP reasons).
I was originally thinking of a halfling ranger (archery) or rogue(APG sniper) but the party really lacks any arcane firepower and the cleric is likley only a one level dip for the elf ranger, so maybe druid would be an acceptable compromise? Our GM says he has a way for the party to meet me that works well, but I'm currently unaware of it.
Anyways, thoughts and suggestions are welcome.

It would probably be nice for your group to have a few spare healing spells to toss around. Classes that would be good for that:
Druid: Obviously a good class with full casting and decent melee badassery (does that count as profanity since it's a mostly made up word?). You can pump up damage decently by switching in a level of Rogue later on when you can beast shape into something with multiple attacks. Just one level gives you an extra 3.5 damage per attack and that can add up with 3-4 attacks.
Inquisitor: I've been really enjoying playing an Inquisitor. Good fighting strength with Bane and Judgments. Great social abilities and knowledge skills. Also a really nice selection of spells.
Paladin: Also a great class and fun if you're into that kind of character. RP issues are the only real downside unless you're ready for them. This guide has some ideas on how to RP a Paladin so your friends don't hate you.
Oracle: Oracle is becoming a teeny tiny obsession for me. There is so bloody much you can do with it. Shaman, casting warrior, necromancer, scholar, pyromaniac, all of it. Not needing to be a primary healer will let you try out something interesting like Rage Prophet.

So I have an ogre barbarian1 fighter7 and I am trying to make him nearly indestructible. Obviously hes an ogre so damage isnt a problem hes got a semi decent Ac sitting at 28 (9 armor, 3 dex, -1 size, 5 natural, 2 deflection) or a 32 when combat expertising... saves are fort-19 Refl-8 Will-8 Hes got a ring of freedom of movement that our camp leader made for one of the previous players that pretty much killed himself... and an ioun stone that gives him regen 1/ 10 min is there anything else that any one can suggest I do to improve maybe on saves ( i have iron will and imp iron will) gold really isnt a problem cause my dm likes big battles and big battles mean lots of loot so... But if anyone can give me any advice it would be great.
PS Hes died 2 times in Serpent Skull once during a random encounter against a frogemoth at like lv 8 and again at lv 10 during a massive battle where a elephant rider crit him with a lance and the elephant trampled... so he can die lol
Thanks

YuenglingDragon hase it right. Some type of healing class that can fight. Is proby the best way to go.
Cleric, Druid, Inquisitor, Oracle, Paladin, and Ranger are all good choices. My top pick is proby the Druid with the genral out line of the AP from the players guide. Followed by the Ranger. Nature or Battle Oracle wold not be a bad choice eather.
PS. If I hade been playing in the game. Right after they sayed I don't fight. The Witch dies of masterious causes. It's not evil it's saving lives mainly your partys.
