So in a campaign I'm playing a dog loving druid. He has the catch off guard feat and the throw anything feat, thus allowing him to use practically any weapon/object to its utmost inefficiency. (ie: instead of actually using nun-chucks the way they are meant to be used, he beats a person up as though they were a club, and if it was magical, I probably wouldn't get the magic bonuses.)
His weapon of choice currently is a grappling hook, and it caught the party off guard. One kept saying how I needed to take a feat to be able to use it as a weapon. (I took two in fact. One for the simulated "reach" and one for the melee.)
So while some were initially confused, none of them were when the goblins were running at us with prongs covered in molten glass.
