Does Pathfinder RPG has a "Sage Advice"-like system?

Pathfinder First Edition General Discussion

Is there any "Sage Advice"-like system in place for Pathfinder RPG?

A place (database?) where questions are answered/clarified in an 'official' manner??

I know that Sage Advice was a term used by Wizards (Ask Wizards) and another terminology might be used, but the idea itself of such would be greatly appreciated...

If this does not already exists, I would humbly suggest this be created for Pathfinder (I would even be willing to 'host' such a system on my Wiki)

Paizo has "Ask a Post Troll". It would be nice to have a rules as intended page as opposed to the current system. Ask a Post Troll which gives at least two answers and a two page post battle over who is right.

Don't misunderstand Mr. Fishy loves to argue. Can we have a Ask a Post Troll thread group? Please.

Kobold Quarterly has a rules column - Ask a Kobold.

Scarab Sages

We do have "Ask the Kobold," authored by someone named Skip Williams. :)

Dark Archive

I will do the "sage advice" for Pathfinder....

Please send 12.95 and your question to.....

Please no two-part questions :)

But if you want to be cheap...then Ask the Kobold is a good way to go..

"Ask a Kobold" seems to be a ... Forum thread!

Did I missed something?

Its a regular feature in Kobold Quarterly. The thread is just the forum-manifestation of the article.

However, the author, Skip Williams, was, for some time, the sage of Sage Advice.

Go to the product pages for the core rulebook, bestiary, and APG. There is an FAQ tab. This is where the official clarifications are made, been there for about a month now.

I see this FAQ entry, but this does not looks like a Q&A regarding the rules. Were you referring to another link? Can we submit questions to be answered by Paizo?

We are fielding Sage-Advice style questions on Chronicles: Pathfinder Podcast and where appropriate, have gone for answers from Paizo staff on obscure matters and where there are no rules at all governing the quesrion at hand. For exmaple, in Episode #008, Jason Bulmahn and James Jacobs weigh in on the ability and game mechanic used to adjudicate whether or not a player can use Spellcraft to identify an Alchemical Infusion.

No, there is a separate FAQ tab on the product pages for the Core Rulebook, the APG, and the Bestiary. When the FAQ is more mature (has more answers), Vic Wertz has indicated that they will make it more visible.

For posts that contain questions you think should be answered in a FAQ, you can click on the "FAQ" link next to "Reply" and "Flag" at the start of the post. This will be used to call attention, in a voting system, to posts that people feel should be answered.

Yeah, "for some time" -- kinda like saying that "for some time" the Roman Empire was the most influential Power in Europe and the Med.
