Yes, I've read all that now - still no way to skirmish an undead creature though without that feat...
But your re-writes are awesome! Please convince Snorter that they can be used in a non-Amber setting :-)

Our ranger class "ate" the scout.

There's no need to insert a rule for undead, since Core PF now allows for critting and sneaking of undead, unlike 3.5.
Which could have meant Hooty the Phanaton got that killing blow up the Spawn of Kyuss' groin after all!Go Hooty!

Yeeees; I saw all the planewalking, and was 0_o!?
I think it's fair to say those aren't 'Ranger' powers, per se, but more 'campaign-specific bonus feats'. Other wise I'd have to give them to everybody.

Couda Wouda Shouda... why don't we change to PF already?

I agree, but it's not as bad as it sounds. Only some of the powers from about L12 up need tweaking. Despite the fact they fit my character concept totally! :-) And not by much:
Walk in Shadow (Sp): At 12th level, you can use shadow walk as a spell-like ability once per day with a caster level equal to your ranger level.
Find the Path (Sp): At 16th level, your tracking abilities improve to the point where you can find even places you’ve never been. You gain the ability to use find the path as a spell-like ability 1/day, at a caster level equal to your ranger level. This duplicates the 3.5 edition spell, without the Pathfinder rules limitations, and it operates even across planar boundaries. You can use this ability to find even “unfindable” things (like an escape route from Hell).
Additionally, once per day you can discern location as a spell-like ability, with a caster level equal to your ranger level.
Personal Preserve (Sp): I love this, but seeing as we'll never get to this level I doubt its worth agonising over. Oh well...
