I'm posting this thread to place forth a challenge to all. I think we should hold a contest to see which character build can "make it" the furthest past his/her own CR while alone.
I'm doing this because I'm tired of everyone "Bashing" on fighters... who I think to be more powerful than wizards.
Use ONLY Pathfinder Items, Classes, Feats, Rules. It's Open Source, here.
Pathfinder
1) Each Person should create a Level 10 Rogue, Fighter, Monk, Barbarian (Pure Physical Classes, although, Rogue can have spell specials). Multiclass, between these as you like. (25 point buy)
2) Each character has 25,000gp to spend on equipment (Anything they can afford). This includes potions, wands, rings, scrolls, etc etc. (it's not what a character of their level should have, but it will do for the contest).
3)Each person should post their character Stats below in as uniform a fashion as possible, listing your character similar to Valeros here VALEROS EXAMPLE
4) After We get a decent # of entries, I will have all entries "face off" vs a steadily increasing CR of enemy. For instance, I will start at CR 6, having all entries fight a monster rolled randomly from that CR. Then, I will roll a different CR 6 and fight characters against those. Then I will move on to CR 7s. Then 8... then 9... then 10... then 11..... etc etc.
5) Characters will be disqualified and removed from the rankings only after Losing two battles in a row. Health will regen after fights.
6) I will list the outcomes of each battle as we go, stating which characters won or lost and who is disqualified for dying twice in a row.
Note: These fights will be fare, and I will have friends present for them so that nothing is missed. Keep this thread relatively clean and be nice to people if they screw up the rules or their numbers. If you'd like to have your guy open with a specific Attack/Action each time you can add that to the entry.
