Just wondering how the Mother of Flies created such a beast. If the hag can do it my PC Druid wants to know how as well.

It is a standard monster with extra HD and templates. There is no direct way for a PC to "make" one. It simply has to grow to be that size, the rest is handle animal checks.

Sure, will move to COT forum. The module states that the Mother grew the animal to its enormous size with a variety of methods, foods, magical sources, ect. So if there are means to "Make" one I would love to here them.
This would go into the category of things that you could do if you had enough time and resources to study this one aspect exclusively until you found the correct procedure.
In essence, if a PC wants to study/experiment until he finds out how to repeat the procedure, I'd let them do so, but it would take a long time (read: someone's life work). It wouldn't be a simple skill check :)
