Kingmaker AP and Epic Rules

It seems with the conclusion this AP and the "Continue" section with a Stat Block for Choral the Conqueror with a CR 25 would mean Epic rules.

Any word on Pathfinder Epic play?

I believe it has been said that an "Epic Handbook" is something the Paizo folks are interested in putting together, but it will not be any time in the near future due to other priorities and projects.
