Once you can craft demiplane with the timelsss trait (magic) trait you can scribe the whole book in 1 action. Just use time stop to get it done right now. Imagine how boring that 6 months to a year would be.

Given how much wealth a character has at the level 150k is not to bad. If yo a RP it out a lot of it could be done as trades. I mean If I am a 5th level wizard with 2-4 3rd level spells I would totally trade with another so I don't have to pay the guild for it.

Also any particular character could probably be happy with half.

The Timeless trait means you don't age and time doesn't pass inside the plane, time still moves along smartly without, and 'catches up' when you exit. So you can live forever inside your little world, or turn to dust when you step out of it.

It's basically useless if you are immortal. You did take that don't aging wizard gift at 20th, right?

You cannot create a Demiplane with that Trait, except possibly with Mythic rules. The best you can do is double time with Create Greater demiplane.

Create Major Demiplane can grant a Demiplane with the Timeless Trait.

I'd argue it's the exact opposite of useless for an Immortal as well. Any spell with a duration longer than Instantaneous cast in a plane with the Timeless trait is effectively permanent.

What wizard is going to worry about invasion if his fortress is in a Demiplane of his own creation, surrounded by the results of dozens of Summon Monster 7 through 9 castings?

EDIT: For the purposes of this discussion, I would agree that by and large, a Demiplane with the Timeless trait is borderline useless.

The trait I was looking for was Erratic Time. I'm fairly certain there are ways to determine variable rolls where you ca end up in an erratic plane where one day equals one round on the Material Plane.

The rules are unclear as to whether or not the time changes only when you enter the plane, leave the plane, when the plane is created, or at some unmentioned interval.

In any case, if you can manage to get to one where one day equals one round, you can get the whole thing done in a few hours, granted you will still age.

A few hours Golarion time you realise you'll still experience the full 6 months/1 year and be that much older when you get back right?
