"That's it, come ta papa" Colburne studies the spider as it skitters across the wall. "I think it's gonna shoot some more goo, watch out guys!" as the arachnid expels it's webbing, the dwarf ducks under the attack, his eyes wide with fury. "I'm gonna mutilate this vermin" Colburne rushes toward the spider, raising his axe in aggression.

Round 2
(18) "That's it, come ta papa," Colburne studies the spider as it skitters across the wall. "I think it's gonna shoot some more goo, watch out guys!" as the arachnid expels it's webbing, the dwarf ducks under the attack, his eyes wide with fury. "I'm gonna mutilate this vermin!" Colburne rushes toward the spider, raising his axe in aggression. The blade bites deep into carapace spraying ichor around the dwarf.
(17) Hissing madly the spider bites back at the rogue.
Bite: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7
Colburn deftly steps away from the attack.
(15) Breaking free of the webbing, Joe notices the spider crawling along the ceiling towards the party, "Get 'im Colburne! Let's squash that dang bug! Whooo!" Joe moves to help Colburne and draws his warhammer out as he nears the spider. His swing only knocks away chunks of masonry from the wall.
(14) As Gustin steps up to get a better view. "Don't worry guys we can take him" He pulls another arrow back and fires. Striking the spider in the head. The beast quivers and falls to the ground.
You find yourself in a web filled room with a door to the southwest. Care to search it?
Fallen Fortress, Ground Floor

Mastermind |

Searching through north and west wing reveals a small cocoon with the remains of a tiny dog. The desiccated carcass is still wearing a leather collar, which is stuffed with lapis lasuli stones and a silver tag reading "Kita." Of greater interest is a man sized cocoon. When it is cut open a pale young man in blue robes tumbles out. Judging by the clothing he could be some kind of magician or cultist. After being freed from the silk he begins to awaken groggily.
Venturing into the western wing shows that it is mostly choked with rubble and a few pieces of webbing. There is another doorway on the eastern wall that is still accessible. Peering through the eastern doorway reveals a small room with a staircase. Much of it has collapsed rendering it unusable on this floor and filling the lower portions with debris.
It would appear that the only way to the second floor is to climb the eastern wings broken walls.

Colburne Blackhand |

"Evening stranger, yes we woke ya up, and it's a good thing we did, looks like that web slinger was saving you for a late night snack!" Colburnes attention immediately shifts to the semi-precious blue stones in the collar of the dogs corpse. "What's yer name pal, you an adventurer? And by the way is this yer dead dog? Looks like rover's got a nice collar!"
Colburne appraises the lapis-lazuli.
Appraise check-1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 19(+2 for Dwarven Greed)

Joe "Mac" MacGillicuddy |

"A pleasure to meet ya! Names Joe MacGillicuddy. But you can call me Mac. Or Joe. I guess it's a good thing we found you before you became bug food. Must a been creepy to be wrapped up in all that. I sure do hate spider webs!" He shudders at the thought and starts dusting invisible webbing off of himself again from the previous encounter. "Anyhoo, like I was saying, there ain't nothin' but rubble in there. There is a set of stairs through this one door but it's also buried in rubble. Unless you fellas can find an easier way, looks like we're gonna have to climb up those broken walls of where we came in."

Colburne Blackhand |

"Well it's a pleasure to meet ya Crael, I'm Colburne Blackhand, axe for hire, and we're here on official pathfinder business. If you care to join us in our exploration, seeing how we just lost our previous wizard, I'd be willing to overlook the debt for saving your life. I'm sure you will get a chance to repay the favor, this place is dangerous!"Colburne rummages through his pack for rope and grapple. "I'm ready ta start climbing when you guys are, let's move it."

Mastermind |

Colburne you return to the broken eastern wing hook in hand.
Grappling Hook Throw: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 2 = 22
With an expert twirl you launch the hook up into the second floor. It catches securely and you don't feel it budge at all.
Everyone may take 10 to climb the rope as there's no current danger. I'll describe the next floor as soon as someone posts that they climb up.

Joe "Mac" MacGillicuddy |

"Let's go. No time to waste." He turns to Crael, "Yeah come on an join us. That other guy, what was his name?" He pauses for a half second, "Doesn't matter, as long as you ain't here to kill us, you can follow along. The more the merrier!" Seeing Colburne make a perfect throw of his grappling hook, "Whooo! That was a mean throw Colburne! Welp, here we go!" Joe proceeds up the rope.
Taking 10 = 18. I can go up in any order you all want to go in. Doesn't matter to me.

Mastermind |

This floor has considerably less rubble than the bottom but is not entirely free of it either. From here you can see that the third and fourth floors of the eastern wing are damaged as well. There are two sturdy wooden doors in this room with large looping handles. Colburne's grappling hook is wedged perfectly in the northern door's handle.

Crael |

"Yes, it would be best if we stayed in a group.". Crael climbs the rope. Upon reaching the second floor he set about a ritual. "Give me a second, I am getting us some more help". As he completes the complex ritual a strange creature seems to unfold from nothingness. The strange being looks like a crab walking on two legs, beady eyes glaring our from under the hood of it's carapace.
take 10 on climb check - result is 9, summoning the eidolon takes 1 minute.

Colburne Blackhand |

Colburne turns to his newfound companions and whispers in a hushed tone,"I hear chittering comin' from the other side of the door, means there's probably critters inside. Get yer weapons and spells ready, I'm gonna open the door." As the grizzled dwarf readies his axe, he poses a question to the strapping farmer "Would you like to be the point man in these situations? If not, just let me know, I'll go first if ya want."
When the rest of the party give the signal they are ready to go Colburne opens the door.

Crael |

Crael nods at the creature he summoned, "Everyone, this is Arrux." Arrux looks around at the group. A voice from inside the shell echoes "Greetings". Crael motions Arrux up towards the door while retrieving his dagger. "I am ready."
I will put my eidolon's speech in bold italics, not that it really displays too differently.

Joe "Mac" MacGillicuddy |

"Would I?! You betcha, buddy! Just open 'er up and let's take care of some nasty chittering! Whooo!" He gathers himself together, "You know my daddy always said, if it's chittering...kill it." Joe readies his weapon and offers his everburning torch to Crael, "Would you mind holdin' this? I can't see a thing without it. And I'm gonna need two hands for 'ol Cutter here." He pats his scythe and then turns toward Colburne and nods, "Whenever you're ready."
Joe will enter in as soon as Colburne opens the door

Mastermind |

Colburne carefully opens the door. Judging from the shelves lining the walls, this darkened room might once have been a storeroom, though its contents have long since succumbed to the passage of time. A crack in the northern wall has apparently let in some rainwater, which has collected in large puddles on the floor.
Standing in between two puddles is a dog-sized lizard with two horns, one on either side of its head, and green scales that crackle with sparks of lightning. It tilts it's head looking at you as as electricity washes up it's horns.
Map will be up later tonight.

Crael |

Crael takes the torch from Joe. Looking at the strange creature he cocks an eyebrow "I have no idea what it is, but i believe there appears to be lightning on it's head because it does indeed have lightning coming out of it." Crael leans in a little closer to look at it better. "Hi there, can you understand me?"
Crael will attempt to hail the creature in every language he knows: Common, Auran, Ignan, and Terran

Colburne Blackhand |

Axe in hand, Colburne slowly approaches the lightning laden lizard, "alright you little bugger, don't start none... won't be none."Careful to avoid the obvious puddles, Colburne manuevers into a defensive posture a short distance from the curious reptile.

Joe "Mac" MacGillicuddy |

Joe moves cautiously to the center of the room, continuing to talk to the creature in a calm voice, "It's okay little buddy. We don't want no trouble now." He scans the room to see if there are any more creatures like this one and to see what else is in the room.
Move action to M-7

I'm guessing Crael is in the room at this point, but if not then disregard the Perception.

Round 1, shocker lizard
(22) "Glad to switch you," Crael moves back just as Arrux bolts to one side, coming at the small creature and attempting to grab it in it's pincer. The lizard just barely avoids the snapping pincher.
(21) "Watch out!" Gustin shouts at Crael, as he knocks his arrow and takes aim. The arrow strikes the lizard but fails to injury it tumbling away.
(17) "Dangit! We SAID no trouble, you lightning headed critter!" Joe rushes forward and swings his scythe in a downward arc at it. The blade bounces off the floor loudly.

Colburne Blackhand |

Mastermind |

Well shocker lizards are weird. Their shock attack only deals nonlethal damage. It's sort of trying to taser you into unconsciousness then it'll bite you to death.

Joe "Mac" MacGillicuddy |

"DANGIT!" Joe obviously becoming irritated at the fact he can't hit this creature, "Stand still you dang blasted critter! I just wanna cut you in two, that's all!" Joe moves and swings an overhead chop again at the lizard.

The room grows still with a few fading pops of electricity playing off of Arrux's shell.

Colburne Blackhand |

"Wow, way to go crab guy.... you really showed that little zapper who's boss" Colburne marvels at the hulking eidolon. "Thanks for trying to lend me a hand Crael, looks like your amphibious bodyguard does his job well.... Everyone alright?" The dwarf looks over his party, making sure no one is badly injured. "If we are all ok, lets spread out and search this room, I don't wanna miss anything!"
