I put a link in my profile so folks can contact me.
I'll see what I can do to update the bloodline. The bonus spells are likely the same. I did some more playtesting and I'm not happy with how the at will power worked so I'll probably rework it.
I'll try and post a rewrite in my blog and link it here.

Hey everyone!
I finally got the number for 911 and called for help for Timmy.
The Ambulance says Timmy's gonna make it (whew) and Timmy says he doesn't know where Dennis is so I guess we're back to square one.
The only thing I can think of -- have you gone to Ogre's page here on the Boards?! Some Paizonian's post an e-mail or website on their Paizo Avatar page so you can contact them.

Uhm. If you scroll up a few posts you'll see that Ogre popped in to say "Ook". See? I knew we should have sacrificed Timmy sooner...
Ogre also kindly said that he'll update the Shadow bloodline and post here to let us know about it. Forgot to ask him when though. My F5 clicking finger is getting cramped...

Pretty busy this week. Maybe early next week. I don't want to be responsible for wearing out your keyboard.
Edit: I found the original document but I need to add back the chances the editors made to it in the final draft then I can update it. Are you just interested in the bloodline or the PrC also?
Edit: Edit: What did you like most about the bloodline and what did you not use at all?

Click. Click. Click. See, I caught your reply in less than two minutes. Click. Click. So I'll keep clicking until next week then. Click. Click. Thanks for letting us know. =) Click. Click.
Edit: I'm mostly interested in the bloodline; the prestige class won't really be of much help since I'm going full caster.
Edit: Edit: I actually haven't played with it very much yet however. I like the bloodline's bonus Stealth skill; one of the few means I could find to acquire it for my character. I also wanted the silent image spell anyway, so that was a good to receive for free.
Though I love what I see, I'm a little uncertain as to how Veil of Darkness and Shadow Mask are intended to function. The latter for instance; it can be activated as a move action but says that it lasts as long as the sorcerer concentrates. So a move action to activate and then a standard action each round to maintain; is this correct or am I reading it wrong? Wouldn't it be easier for the sorcerer to simply reactivate it every round rather than concentrate? It also says that it "conceals" the caster; does that mean it grants concealment, crucial for making stealth checks, all by itself? I also expect that Veil of Darkness will have a daily limit placed upon it once revised.

Pretty much all the stuff you mentioned will be updated. It's not as clear as I thought when I wrote it.

Which is often the case unfortunately. I could have tried updating the material myself; but being a player who will be making use of it, I'd be sorely tempted to make it more useful rather than less while tweaking. I trust your second go at it will clarify some issues and bring it fully in-line with the new rules. So I leave it to you and, again, much thanks. =)

0gre wrote:I added that link because of this thread :DDo you have a gaming blog somewhere? The one that's linked seems to be wall-to-wall mountain biking related; not that there's anything wrong with that. ;)
I have a gaming blog but right now it's mostly my campaign journals, mini pictures, and things like that. One of the things I'm working on is getting a section on there for house rules, spells and feats I've created.

A few observations about the bloodline's powers if I may:
Wall of Darkness: There's no mention of range, the type of action required to initiate the effect or the number of times per day it can be used. I'd also likely clean up the language a bit to do away with the word "disoriented" which isn't a PF condition.
Shadow Mask: There's no mention of the type of action required to initiate the effect. And, since it mentions that that the sorcerer "can alter the shadows around him", it's unclear if the sorcerer actually needs to be in or near a shadowy area to gain the bonus or if it's just a flavourful bit of description.
Shadow Step: Considering that this power requires one to be "in an area of shadowy illumination" and that this bloodline's other powers generate or manipulate shadows it'd be helpful to know how they interact with each other. Is initiating a Wall of Darkness or Shadow Mask effect sufficient to use Shadow Step?
Cloak of Shadows: Does the cloak actually diminish ambient light within its radius? The sorcerer is somehow fully concealed by something so it would seem so, but if so, it's unclear whether others entering would themselves be concealed too or whether they could even perceive any figments that are within the cloak effect, which are supposed to be harder to disbelieve. Also, do the various bonuses apply to other casters' illusions sent into the cloak? If so, the sorcerer might appreciate the ability to quell his cloak of shadows occasionally, which it remains unclear whether he can or not.
Hope this helps. =)

Added bloodline arcana, something a little different from typical bloodline arcana so let me know what you think.
Clarified Cloak of Shadows a bit (hopefully).
Anything that doesn't list an action type is assumed to be a standard action.
Changed it from "an area..." to "any area...", which should make it clear that yes you can create a shadow wall and use it to step into the plane of shadow.
Sorry I'm being pokey updating this.

I'm not seeing the arcana in there...

It is a bit different, though it seems balanced, useful and in keeping with the flavour of the bloodline. I like it very much. =)

It seems more clear now, though there's no mention of whether the sorcerer can drop his cloak or not. It might be tough living as an ambulatory patch of darkness 24/7; it'd certainly make holidays with the family awkward. The sorcerer also has to be wary of others sending their own illusions into the cloak to assault the sorcerer since, as written, they'd also benefit from its augmentations.

Actually no since it'd take a standard action to raise the wall of darkness and then another to activate shadow step; by which point the wall has already disappeared since it ended just before the sorcerer's following turn.
And, as mentioned before, there's no mention of how often and at what range the wall of darkness can be created.
Keep up the good work Ogre! =)
